I just got out of the psychiatric ward After a week and a half.
Im back home.
Hi everyone
I checked myself into the hospital last Monday in the emergency room.I was suffering from anxiety,depression,insomnia,hearing voices,physical pain,suicidal.They kept me there for 2 days in tiny jail cell in a small room.They then transfer me to the psychiatric unit in an ambulance on a strapped gurney.
Then I was at psyche ward.I had 3 roomates.Two of them were in catatonic state.One constantly wet the bed and the other shit on the bathroom floor.The guy next to me was old man with a broken mind,paranoid schizo.It was room from hell,worst of the unit,because i couldn't sleep,because one patient kept acting up and they were 3 nurses assigned to watch them and they would talk to each other in middle of the night.I said shut the fuck up! trying to sleep.went to staff to change my room,but nothing was available.No other room had nurses giving special care for patients.
Most days you attend group therapy.They like 6-7 a day.Sunday is free day.You get 3 meals plus snacks.They watch you when you shave.The food was terrible.You had 2 visiting hours twice a day.1-2 pm and 6-7 pm.You get to use the free phone twice a day for an hour each.At night it's free time.We played board games,cards watch movies.
Overall it was best thing for me.I loved the place.My favorite part were the patients.I got phone numbers,facebook pages from numerous people.I haven't been this social in a long time.I felt strangely empowered in that place,because I was the alpha male,most sane and girls flocked to me.They all love touching my hair,even though that's not allowed.I just met a girl who got discharged last Friday today.I introduce her to my family,uncle,aunt,cousin,they all live in my building.My brother was in my house.She said let's go.We're going to your room!If he walks in,who cares,psyche chick.

Psych wards are wonderful places.

Im not cured,but finally in medication. Im on ctitalopram,zolpidem and some other psychotic medication.

The psyche patients were some of the best people I met.I got home addess of this crazy,paranoid,schizoprenic 63 year old guy named Walter.He suffers from mass delusion,he thinks he worked for CIA.I think he's a crack addict,but mad funny.He had me rolling. 2014-Year of the Parties | |

Do you trust anonymous orgers on face value?
I don't know how save somebody is, when I don't know anything about them.
What was your psychosis about?

Manic depression.I heard shit in my head and that shit made me crazy.I was like WTF.They didn't diagnose me schizo.My Dr said something like ;ack of sleep.too much time on my hands to overthink

Yes, sleep and food are pivotal for mood disregularity.
Not that easy to sleep when you'r mind is spinning.

One of the psyche patients is getting released tomorrow.I called her today at the hospital and she confirmed it.So Im gonna hook up with her and go to her place then we're going to crazy old man Walter's house,who was released earlier in the week.Hopefully my buddy Velasquez(Angel Dust)from the ward is released Monday,so I can hanged out with him.
This place is so crazy,they got me into listening to rap music,we were all dancing and popping to 2Chainz in lounge.I sang Gloria Gaynor "I will survive" during open mic which was one of the therapy sessions. 2014-Year of the Parties | |

I met a wonderful,elderly lady named Marilyn.You had to stay right near her just to hear her talk.She attended every group therapy,while other patients stayed in their rooms.she got discharged a day earlier before me.I remember the medics putting her on the gurney.I stood right next to it,until it was time to go.The medics said let's go and I gave her a kiss and hug,last time I probably see her.I went to my room shortly afterwards and got emotional. 2014-Year of the Parties | |
