If the tires were wrong and you are injured, they are the ones who should have been pooping themselves over the incident, not you.

Exactly.

You could have got hurt big time.

That should be their concern.

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

The problem is, it wasn't really an "unlawful" use of tires. To use those tires was perfectly legal, but simply more dangerous and more expensive, because they fade more quickly. As the driver of the car, I should have checked which tires were on before I got into the car and should have driven accordingly...

In reality, nobody would have ever expected those tires to be on there and it is only in high-speed cornering that you really feel the difference (and feel it I did), that's why I'm probably on the safe side. But I can't really blame it on them either.

I understand that you are stressed about any financial debates that may follow.

But, that really is not your concern. The companies are the ones to who's job it is to worry about that.

So, please try not to focus on it.

I'm very thankful you'r okay and not hurt that bad.

Wow eek I'm happy to hear you survived such a wreck with only minor injuries. I also was in a car accident where my car was totalled so I can empathize. And my accident was all because of Prince. mad

The funny worked on many levels, plus I have thick skin.

It was something that used to get said to me a lot by mechanics back in the day when I used to fool around with car racing. I would say that 99 times out of 100 it was my fault not the car when it went wrong. The unpredictable thing is the human, not the machine.

I think even Dave92 knows this, as he has admitted the tires' status could have been checked before driving.
