I recently purchased both of these. The 21 minute cd's are 3" discs and I plan on using them for my demos. They're mostly to isolate one idea or related ideas I'm working on onto one disc. And then there are the 90 minute cd's that have an overburn capacity of up to 100 minutes. They're not sold in stores yet I don't think. But you can find them on Ebay from a company called Insite Technologies. They're great for those mix discs that you could never fit everything on before. I really love them both. Anyone else have these?

They have a yellow design on the top, right? They suck!! I used to use them for my vcd's to put a 90 minute movie on them. They tend to have major flaws and don't play back on most stereos. I bought some about 6 months ago and still have more than half of them left

I got them off of vcdhelp.com. I couldn't find the old ones in search, but i did find the silvertop ones. I'm curious to see how they work, but i won't be buying anymore cdr because i have over 400 next to me right now. I may never use all of these.

I'd be happy just to find a good brand of 80-minute CD-Rs. TDK Certified Plus was great when they were made in Japan, but the ones I've bought recently are from Taiwan, and now I'm burning plenty of coasters.

can't get the 90/100 minute discs to play on my discman which is where most of my music gets played... don't work in my dvd player either (at least for audio). but they do work in the car.

1) I've always used the same burner, but I never had any problems until I ran out of the Japanese discs and started using the ones from Taiwan.

2) I've heard negative things about CD-Rs from Taiwan in general.

Sometimes it can even be the software. I like nero for games and movies and adaptec for music. Make sure to finalize disc when you burn it to make it work in more machines.

I got some Philips CDR-80s in a pack of 30 from Dixons. They're quite cheap and work fine.

I never go for the big 100 packs.

Maybe my software and/or hardware is picky about blank CD-Rs... I just wish I could find more of the Japanese TDK Certified Plus discs. I don't think I had a single bad one, ever.
