i haven't seen her out there since the blizzard yesterday. currently, the snow is about six inches deep, and she would have to shovel her grill out from under a drift. i wouldn't put it past her though, and the weekend is coming up so she might be out there yet. we'll see

it's like a christmas card outside right now. yesterday the snow was thick and sticky, and it was blown sideways by the storm. right now, everything outside it coated in white. it is simply stunning. i've never seen anything so gorgeous.

but the birds are confused, the trees that were getting ready to bud now sport clumps of ice, and quite frankly enough is enough. so i am saying to myself "winter, you beautiful bitch, i love you. now fuck off!"
