Gene Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict OR Andromeda?

I know there are plenty of sci-fi fans in the org that can answer THIS excellent question. It about two different sci-fi series based upon written ideas (NOT Star Trek-related!) by the late Gene Roddenberry. Therefore, you make the call......

Liked both, maybe Earth Final Conflict a little more (though didn't care for the last season. If I recall there were new aliens "Atavus" replaced the Taelons which sucked big time).

Earth: Final Conflict

The premise of an alien race that's been visiting Earth for millenia then comes and quietly "takes over" really intrigued me.

I could never really get into Andromeda (a.k.a. "Hercules In Space").
