I've seen this one online last year, and just recently on the TV ONE site I started watching "Deceived". I'm a little squeamish and scardy cat-ish for anything too heavy (like macabre murders or serial killers), but I can take mob stories and con artist stories pretty well.

I can pretty much watch anything on ID Discovery except for that Stalker show they have. I watched that one time and could barely sleep that night.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

OOh! Real life stalkers? Oh chile I have had real life experience with that so that one I might have to cross off the list, too. I'm tellin' you, it's some crazy ass people out here in this world dead

I like Forensic Files & Cold Case Files because you see how detectives & scientists worked to unravel puzzling crimes.

City Confidential was a good true crime docu-series too. It's fair to say 50% of its greatness came from Paul Winfield's (RIP) narration.

HBO used to air those "America Undercover" hooker documentaries. Stark, depressing stuff.

Snapped is a really good one, too!!

Before Dish took away ID, my faves were Deadly Women, Behind Mansion Walls, and Blood Relatives. It is insane what some people do for love or money.

HBO used to have a show called "Autopsy" with Dr. Michael Baden...I used to love watching that, even though it would scare the hell out of me.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I tried to watch that show a couple times, but it creeped me out too much. I clearly remember an episode about where cops exhumed a man's body 2 or 3 years after burial, because they thought the wife poisoned him. The photo of the man's mummified corpse in the morgue gave me nightmares. eek

Oh well, I can see how that can give some everlasting effects on folks. Kind of like how I felt when the Unsung episode of The Bar-Kays showed the corpse of Otis Redding being lifted out of the water while his lifeless body was still strapped in his plane seat. I couldn't get that image out of my head for a few days.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

eek I never saw that episode!

Now I'm kinda glad that I didn't lol

Today while I was cookin' & cleanin' I did check out Behind Mansion Walls, though---loved that one. Some of these husbands, honey shake and who in the hell knew people were getting down the way they do in Palm Beach stab ??? There's so much criminal scandal there I reckon every time you walk into a charity gala, there's a pretty good chance somebody just drugged or killed their spouse 10 minutes before arriving in time for cocktail hour lol

Snapped, I still watch it. I Almost Got Away with It was wild and The First 48 is chilling.

Deadly Women is my favorite one on that channel. It doesn't come on anymore though sad I love the ID channel, but a lot of the crime stories have been recycled on other various crime shows. Bio has some good ones too, like "I Survived". I agree w/ KemiVA that narration plays a huge part. Unsolved Mysteries wouldn't have been the same without Robert Stack. I swear that was the best theme song too.

I miss that one. sad You have to have an iron stomach to perform autopsies. Forensic Files is the closet thing to that show, and it rarely comes on now. I see it on HLN sometimes under a different name.

Yeah, that happened to TLC too. Remember when TLC used to show medical and science programs? Now we get Honey Boo Boo and people running amok in trailer parks. The day truTV started airing shows with SteveO from Jackass and Shaq, I officially swore off that channel. I did used to like Bait Car though. lol Mindless reality shows in small doses don't bother me, but to replace legit tv programming with them is crazy.

Oh goodness! I forgot all about Unsolved Mysteries. That theme song used to scare the bejesus out of me! I tried to never watch that show at night but when I did, I made sure all the doors were locked and the security alarm was on. lol

I loved Forensic Files!!! But then TruTV decreased airing it signficantly. pout
