Super bowl halftime show-who do u think should do it

Who do you think should do it. Who is big enough?

Stevie Wonder with George Michael

Barbara Streisand, Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban

Maroon5 with Lenny Kravitz

Elton John with Billy Joel

Fleetwood Mac

Kenny Chesney, Garth Brooks, with Lady Antebellum

Lady Gaga with Cher

This list just comes to mind-not necessarily what I want. But what might work.

What artist would you like to see?

TBH Beyonce's halftime show was the first time I watched one in it's entirety since Janet and JT. lol

I mean, it is FOOTBALL game after all.

But if you wanna go with relevance in today's pop world, then Lady Gaga would be a good choice because her concerts do really well. She has to put on a good show, why else would 70k people pay to see her?

Van Halen?

Arrowsmith?

Guns N Roses?

I got the impression that rock bands go over well with the football crowd.

Next year? No famous musicians, because it will be in an open-air venue in Northern New Jersey. They should maybe bring back Up With People or a marching band type deal, no way they should plan a big name show as weather conditions will likely be harsh.

No recording artists whatsoever. It should be marching bands, baton twirlers, Jaycettes, cheerleaders, etc. Hell, do they even have cheerleaders anymore these days? I mean, hell, it's a damn football game, not a concert. And none of these crazy big money commercials either. Go back to the shaving cremes, after shave lotions, men's underwear, sneakers, and athletic gear commercials. Stop trying to broaden the audience to people that don't even like football and get back to what it actually is, which is a football game. I won't be watching because I'm not into sports of any kind, but I know that if I were watching a musical concert, I wouldn't want it watered down with sports so give the sports world the same respect.

Not everything is black and white. Sometimes you can have both sports and a show.

The can use heaters and just do vocalists (No dancing incase of snow) the Barbara Striesand, Andrea Bocelli, and Josh Groban combination would work.

They do use rock bands, but Aerosmith have done it. Van Halen would have to do it with David Lee Roth along with Guns n roses to make that happen.

Lady Gaga. Madonna's Super Bowl halftime show was the most mwatched for a reason, because it appealed to an audience that probably doesn't really watch football. I Like the OP's suggestion of Cher being in it, I think that would be cool, or maybe Elton.

I agree, it's absurd that fucking commercials get almost as much attention as the game. The game is spectacle enough without all that other mess

Next year there is only one logical answer...

1. It's outdoors, so no dancers..eliminates jlo.
2. It's in New Jersey, but Bruce has already done it.
3. Say hello to ure sb performer for 2014....Bon Jovi.
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

I have a better idea:

Bon Jovi

- All American band, in touch with taste of majority of Americans.

- Not complicated music, but nice and easy to sing along. Just right for the US majority.

- Bon Jovi has proved to be able to work hard and sustain a solid career. They are very reliable.

- Who can hate Bon Jovi? He's okay and worked hard.

Very good idea Revolution!

So, now that the Roots are off that list,

they have time to come over to Amsterdam, to Paradiso.

Everybody happy.

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

With who? I don't think he is big enough to go it alone. (He has the talent, not the catalogue or high profile to carry it alone.)

The Superbowl happens every year. They need to start thinking ahead. Bon Jovi one year-who would do it the following year?

Prince again, obviously! (his was ranked #1 all time on various websites including AskMen and Huffpo..)

Mostly because I am greedy and I forgot to record XLI haftime on anything other than DVR, so I lost it when I moved and his highness likes to delete things off the internet sad So I just want to see another one and record it right LOL! I can't believe the NFL doesn't have some sort of bigger rights sad its not even on the superbowl DVD sad

No matter the ©️, Paisley Park "official can never ™️ prince. He gave that to us verbally on Oprah in 1996. You can't take prince away from us, corporate. I mean O ( + >
