The Lakers are toast, regardless of whether they manage to eke into the playoffs or not. That achilles injury is hard to recover from, even for younger athletes, but Kobe is 34 years old and has already played 17 seasons in the NBA, so even if he does come back, he may be a shell of his former self.
They barely won that game. I don't see much hope for them in the playoffs. Especially with Kobe's injury. | |

Kobe is a LEGEND; to think that in the twilight of his career he's giving a damn 110% in EACH game JUST to get the Lakers into the playoffs, wow...HERO
it doesn't truly matter if the Lakers get their asses kicked in the playoffs, Kobe has already made (minor) HISTORY this season...
