Tina Turner to Marry Erwin Bach

Tina Turner and Erwin BachSinger-actress and Vogue magazine covergirl Tina Turner is planning to marry German record producer and her long time lover, Erwin Bach. The lovely couple met in Germany while Erwin was a record executive at EMI. They’ve dated for almost 27 years and now they are finally ready to tie the knot.

Previously the 73-year-old hitmaker was in an abusive marriage to musician Ike Turner from 1962 to 1976.

The wedding ceremony will be held near Zurich, Switzerland.

Congrats Tina. We wish you simply the best!

Why not? The woman deserves much happiness in her golden years and I hope she has found it. Which, after the Oprah interview with her and Cher, it seemed like she was content with her age, life, and how she is living it, unlike Cher, who is not dealing with old age very well...

Not in response to your post--but maybe to all the naysayers who might gripe and grumble at the fact that Tina is actually an older woman who likes her age and is actually enjoying it in the manner that she should.... That we all, hopefully, would aspire to do. I was very impressed with her interview on Oprah compared to how Cher felt about her age, even though Cher is younger than Tina.

Cher's always been stuck in a midlife crisis. Tina doesn't seem to have the same type of hangups. Happy for her and Erwin.

Shoot, they lasted longer as an unmarried couple than a lot of people who marry officially lol

It makes since to do it at their age too; it makes things much clearer and easier in a legal fashion when your loved one passes away. nod
