I think wedge sneakers are dreadful, but I also think you pull off trends well, so once you get your outfits all hooked up, they will look cute on you while you're boppin' around on your vacay. The jackets are flawless, btw- creamy like buttah, Dahling. martini

I agree that most are pretty bad. But I've seen a few styles I like (including the two I own lol ). Come to think of it, I think the dreadful ones are those that look most like sneakers (it's that club foot thing I mentioned earlier). The worst are the ones that are made to look like the old Chuck high-tops. They have a hidden wedge, so the high top only comes up to your ankle. The proportions are off in a way that makes me whofarted when I see them.

Neither of the pairs I have really "read sneaker."

I agree that they are kinda dreadful but somehow to me they are ugly-good.

I do like the ones I purchased - I even got $50 bucks off them due to some facebook promotion.

The test, though, will be to see them on me. I only wear skinny jeans and I think that's pretty much the only thing you can wear with them.

And yeah, I admit that new coat really is simply gorgeous. It feels even more gorgeous than it looks - well worth the money. I haven't worn it yet, almost too scared to. lol

Make sure you spray it with leather protector before wearing - especially around the cuffs. And don't wear it with anything that might crock onto the leather. (Crocking is color transfer. Dark wash jeans are notorious for this.)

you're lucky, nude colors are hard to pull off. I absolutely love them, but they don't work on my pasty ass.

Yes, those are the ones that get.my.goat!

I will concede that there are some styles here on the thread that are much more subtle. I can def. see her in a wedgie sneaker/jacket combo.

...and as much as I love Chucks... when you mentioned those wedgies made to look like them, my blood pressure rose. They all need to be shipped to a space station or shuttled to Mars where they can just burn. lol

The way I dress does not quite go with sneakers. lol

Well, unless I'm on my way to the gym.

Like, what do you wear with sneakers? Jogging pants and a t-shirt? Shorts and white socks?

These are not good looks, imo.

This is how most people in the area I live in dress. It's awful. Sloppy dressing is something I can't stand.

Oh, come on. That girl is obviously a student - and deserves some latitude with respect to her footwear, at least.

When I was in school, I had a mile-and-a-half walk to a couple of my classes. (They were at the other end of the campus from where I lived.) I wasn't doing that in heels, let me tell you. I wore loafers or sneakers or duck boots or boat shoes or anything that got me there without pain.

In comparison to the students I see around here, that girl is "done." She obviously took some care with her top/vest combo. And the shot of color in the bag is nice, too.

On a child or teen this is ok, I guess. Problem is, this is how almost all women dress regardless of age or size around here.

Hey, dress however you want, it just looks sloppy to me.

This reminds me, I was out last night and behind me were two women who were talking like valley girls hitting their s's extra hard hissing loudly with each s they hit, about a wedding. They were giving away diamond earrings at their bachlorette party and gossiping. One had those typical cheap ass louis vuitton canvas bags. Both were wearing what looked like your base tiffany co. jewelry. It really grated my nerves hearing them talk and gossiping. I wanted to ask them if they were real people and if people (family&husbands) actually took them serious talking like that.

I refrained from doing so because I think my company would have shit a brick if I had.
