How far is your daily commute to work? Right now mine is 16 miles RT, but will jump to 65 RT miles when I move in two weeks. I think that's still reasonable. What's your drive like ?

10 to 25 mins, depending on weather and traffic. Takes about 45 on public transit. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Ex-Moderator | I live about 2.5 miles from my job. It takes about 20 minutes on the bus or biking. I don't drive because that would be ridiculous. And parking is expensive.
My job is moving to the suburbs next year, though. They're building 2 new buildings for the IT part of my company. It will be about 14 miles. I'll buy a car to drive to work and I'm gonna hate it.
I'm looking for work in other parts of my company now. |

It takes me 5 minutes to get from home to the school; about 20 minutes on foot.

Anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour depending on weather and traffic. BUT I do have the luxury of working from home 2 days a week.

6 miles, maybe 10 minutes.

I live 40 miles from my job. It's totally manageable, because there are only four stop lights in the entire commute. There are usually two or three days every winter when the weather is too treacherous to make the commute, but I just work from home those days. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

30 minutes on a bad day....45 on snowy days. 20-25 mins on a good day.
I can't complain....wifey and I work together, so we drive together. Parking is expensive, but our Firm pays for $90 of the $100 per month. When you take everything into consideration, i.e. gas mileage, gasoline, wear n tear, we come out ahead. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

It used to be an hour and 45 min (bus/train/25 minute walk) each way and boy did it suck - now I drive and it's 30-35min.

1 hour each way. If traffic was better, it could be 35 mins each way! 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

20 minutes of 110km highway driving (that's the limit, the traffic flow is usually 120-125km).

25 minute walks each way if I'm strolling casually, 20 minute walks if it's -40 and the wind is howling in my face. [Edited 3/25/13 3:48am]
