*“The Arsenio Hall Show,” which premieres Sept. 9 in national syndication, will be filmed on Stage 19 at the Sunset Bronson Studios in Hollywood, where the first talking motion picture, “The Jazz Singer,” was shot in 1927…and where “Judge Joe Brown” filmed its final episode before being canceled last month.

In 1927, the facility housed Warner Bros. before the studio moved to Burbank. Other productions that have used that space include “Golden Girls,” “Married With Children,” “Who’s the Boss?,” “Days of Our Lives” and “Judge Judy.”

“Sunset Bronson Studios is Hollywood, and there’s no better place for ‘The Arsenio Hall Show’ to call home,” Hall said in a Wednesday announcement. “I can’t wait to get started and become a part of the history of this famous location.”

Hall’s return to late-night talk is being distributed by CBS Television Distribution, which has cleared the show in about 95 percent of the country. It is anchored on the Tribune stations in major markets including New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. Hall, besides being a host, is an executive producer along with Neal Kendall and Hall’s personal manager John Ferriter.
