Are You Daring or Adventurous?

It seems that there are some very bold people on the Org, and some very shy/reserved ones as well. Just as in real life of course.

So let's take formal tally...

Do you consider yourself to be Daring or Adventurous?

Do you consider yourself Meek or Reserved?

Why?

What is the most daring thing that you've done?

What is the most daring thing that you WANT to do OR wish you'd done?

Are there situations where you're too bold for your own good?

Are there times where perhaps you are not bold enough?

Do you consider yourself to be Daring or Adventurous?

More daring than reserved in life choices.

Do you consider yourself Meek or Reserved?

More meek and reserved in conversation and meeting people.

Why?

I'm so totally complex. Just ask Carrie or Cborgman or any orger I've met in real life.

I'm a mysterious steaming pot of complexifications.

What is the most daring thing that you've done?

Openned this thread disbelief

Other than that, I tend to take the more 'adventerous' choice when it

comes to job or location, etc. Which is weird cause I always end up in

conservative jobs. I tend to pick assignments in locations I've never been.

I like being a fish out of water in foreign countries.

What is the most daring thing that you WANT to do OR wish you'd done?

I want to live 'off the grid'

Are there situations where you're too bold for your own good?

Yeah. And I've gotten shot down.

Are there times where perhaps you are not bold enough?

Yeah. I'm working on that.

I think it's kinda relative. I don't consider myself very daring or adventurous, but then I do things like take off to Thailand for 4 weeks and my aunts think I'm CRAZY.

I don't consider myself meek, but I can be quite reserved. Then again, I used to dye my hair crazy colors and I've been known to just get up and sing at a Vegas piano lounge (true story).

I don't think I've ever been too bold for my own good. I think I strike a good balance between trying the things I want safely and not having any regrets.

i'm both timid and adventurous. i've done things that make me swoon with retrospective terror, and i've taken the timid path as well. it all depends.

I'd say I'm adventurous but not daring. I'll test the waters even if others around me don't but I won't completely throw caution to the wind and go charging in with barrels blazing. Too reserved for that, which is a very strong family trait.

Do you consider yourself to be Daring or Adventurous? Yes, both.

Do you consider yourself Meek or Reserved? No, but I can be quiet when I want to.

Why? Why not?

What is the most daring thing that you've done? Jumped onstage and sang with Prince

What is the most daring thing that you WANT to do OR wish you'd done? Applied to be an astronaut

Are there situations where you're too bold for your own good? I brag too much

Are there times where perhaps you are not bold enough? Sure

Do you consider yourself to be Daring or Adventurous? Both. It's a lifestyle.

Do you consider yourself Meek or Reserved? Reserved. Leave them wanting more. But, I am very animated too.

Why?

What is the most daring thing that you've done? I don't think I've reached that goal yet. But, I have done many things many people said I could never do. Put on original plays in major venues without a partnership and made a good profit in doing it. Quit a job in the height of the recession and then started a new job. My current big TV project is probably the biggest adventure I have ever taken on. But the rewards in the end will benefit all.

What is the most daring thing that you WANT to do OR wish you'd done? Can't think of anything.

Are there situations where you're too bold for your own good? I don't edit myself enough. I'm the one who always points out the elephant in the room and then beats it to death.

Are there times where perhaps you are not bold enough? Sometimes with in the work place-I don't want to come across arrogant, yet, I am confident in my abilities to get the job done.
