Do you enjoy breaking the law?? Hell yeah I do
stealing, dealing (not the "big" substances though), illegally downloading, not paying the subway, ignoring the traffic laws, breaking big mouths, etc, I wasn't born to be a cop that's for sure
If get caught, I don't give a shit, a couple of years (or less) in the shadows (gym, food and shelter included), who gives a shit
what about you? do you usually break the law?
discuss

Nope. I’m a rule follower, always have been.
As long as I morally agree with the law, I’m all for following it. Stealing, littering, driving like a maniac, they all suck. |

depends. mostly i follow rules. traffic rules for example REAL important folks follow those. signal turns, don't tailgate, etc. that's basic safety.
but something like a corporation fracking for shale oil and contaminating a community water source like the st criox river? maybe not a rule follower. tempted to go all eco-terrorist on those folks and shut them down.
so it depends. | |

And if you did you would do so accepting that you could face life in prison if not the death penalty?

Same here. The only thing is I tend to sometimes speed about 5 to 10mph over the speed limit on my way to work on the interstate only. In my defense it used to be that speed but they reduced it. I don't generally speed at all other than on my way to work. I do the speed limit on my way home though. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

oh yeah. I drive, lets just say 'well over the speed limit' on interstates. I LOVE driving FAST To make a thief, make an owner; to create crime, create laws.

Right on Carrie! I totally agree with you. Some people are just plain assholes and wonder why the world is so f*cked up.

Civil Engineers are to blame for a lot of common public fuckery. To make a thief, make an owner; to create crime, create laws.

It takes all kinds to contribute to public fuckery. This thread proves that.

perhaps Empress was looking for this sentence "many people are just plain sheeps and wonder why the world is ruled by some pupeteers in the shadows"

Empress is aware of exactly what she was looking for - thank you very much. And, she stands by her statement.

Give me an open road and I'm doing 100 in a heartbeat. Outside of that nah breaking the law ain't something I enjoy. A few rules maybe but not everyday laws.

in that case I would assume that is was not breaking the law that was the thrill but driving 100MPH, i have driven over 100 MPH (161 KPH) both legally and illegally and the thrill was about the same. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

I just believe todays cars are made to safely handle those speed, it just dumb ass who try to control the road, or don't know to stay out of the passing lane that fuck things up. Its illegal to drive in the passing lane in some states thankfully, people know to get over. To make a thief, make an owner; to create crime, create laws.

it's just a matter of WHEN one should increase the speed
6:30 am, semi-empty freeway? HELL YES
12:00 pm, cars everywhere, "baby on board" stickers ? HELL NO ![]()
- E-mail - orgNote - ![]() |
the car maybe able to handle those speeds but how many people do you know do you trust to drive that fast on open roads? (on a side note there was a recent story about how car's LIE when then they have speedometers that show 140 MPH. But that is nothing new 28ish years ago I had a car that said it could go 120 my dad said "they can't really go that fast. They just put that to sell cars.") "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

i wouldnt drive a 28 yar old car that fast, but an new Audi BMW etc I would and do. I have awesome video late night in Chi, not posted for obvious reasons. To make a thief, make an owner; to create crime, create laws.

my concern would be a random person or car or beast or just the over all poor quality of roads... i have paid to drive on a closed course and when i was in the army we did specialized driving training on closed courses and down run ways... "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

I remember a sketch by Dutch comedian Theo Maassen: Have you ever seen car drivers waiting for a red light in the middle of the night with no traffic at all? Those are really scary people!!!
