What Is A Good Foot Cream To Use For Dry, Callused Skin? I've been using this stuff. It seems to work okay, but I'm going to keep using it for awhile until the skin on my heels gets soft enough so that I can scrape it off.

Is there something else that I can try? I can't afford to get a pedicure right now (I'm sure they would be able to get all the ugly heel skin off). I have to do it at home. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Something with urea. The one I use is 25%. It only cost me $3-4 but after using it 3 nights my heels are smooth! I did slough the dead skin off first in the shower with one of them foot file thingies. I'm the mistake you wanna make

olive oil with a dash of essential oil (lemon verbana is my favorite).
Also, find a fish spa, and soak your feat in it for 15 minutes. You'll be amazed.

Always sleep with socks.

I love to sleep with socks on, even sometimes during the hot summer months. Not sure if a pumice stone will work. I bought this, but wound up taking it back, because it did not work:

Vaseline and booties might work too; thanks. I use Vaseline on my lips during the winter months. It does a nice job of keeping them soft. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

First slough off dead skin with one of those "Eggs." They work great. Then grease your feet with pure shea butter. Put on some socks to wear in bed overnight. Your feet should be as soft as a baby's ass in the morning. Ladies should do this faithfully every two weeks, especially in the summer. Nothing worse than a woman with some to'down husky ass feet. With all the product available, there is no excuse for husk.

I use vaseline now I need to use my shea butter. I get better results with thick white socks.

I tried one of those eggs, and it didn't work for me. I wound up taking it back and getting a refund. Gotta find some pure shea butter. LOL @ "husky ass feet". RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I just Vaselined the bejesus out of my feet. Hopefully, if I keep doing that, the skin will soften up. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Were your feet dry or wet? The egg works best on dry husk. You might need to apply more pressure while using the egg. Better yet, soak your feet in warm water, then get one of those cheese graters to remove the really heavey husk, then applythe shea butter, wrap your feet in plastic wrap or use those bags from the grocery store that you use for fresh produce or any plastic bag that will fit your feet. Then wrap your feet in a towel and apply a heating pad. Let your feet soak in the bag and towel for about 20 minutes. Another thing I've used which is great is a hot wat foot bath. It's an oval shaped heating element in which you melt beeswax. Then you put your feet in the wax, one foot at a time, lift your foot out to let the wax cool and harden around your foot and ankle then put your feet in plastic and then terry cloth booties. Works like a charm in keeping your husk free feet soft and smooth.

I like The Body Shops Peppermint Foot lotion and their Shea body butter, especially in summer. As mentioned previously, diluted bleach can soften skin and help clear many ailments!
