Bob Marley.

Yeah, pretty good. Then you remember Bob was shagging everything anyway.

He did thorough research to find the ones worth the suffer?

I'm very much aware of Marley's carnal pursuits. Notwithstanding Marley's personal life; his statement is spot one and in my opinion a mature observation about human beings and relationships. As someone who's been married for 27 years: Have I disappointed my husband? Yes. Has my husband disappointed me? Yes. We seen each other at our very best and at our very worst. Still we love one another, want to be together, and feel we can and will get through whatever. In my opinion Marley's latter part of his statement is very true, if your going to keep your feet out of the ring because you fear being hurt... I don't think you'll find much solace when you hit middle age and discover maybe it was worth the risk. (IMHO)

Alright, roll ya neck in, I'm not having a go. It's a good quote, I agree. Just as I was nodding my head to it I thought of Bobs track record, that's all. I've been with my missus for years too, still waiting for my medal. I agree with your post. Apart from the spot one bit but that's just me being facetious.
Spot on. If you don't take the plunge for fear of drowning you'll never get to go swimming. Now where'd I put my budgie smugglers?

Agreed! You have to take a chance in love and hope the person loves you as much if not more than you love them. Open you heart and love should come even after waiting a while. ThankUPrince! |

Yes, I agree.
On the other hand, if it's not recipricated, it's a waist of time to dwell on your one-sided love.
Gotta move on.

Being in love with someone can be the most heartbreaking, emotionally destructive force like ever.
What do you do when you love someone and can't possibly ever be with that person ?
True love can be a motherfucker . It can take you thru some serious changes.

Beautiful inspiration! Just what I needed to hear.
Well, I'm officially giving up cuz she's clearly not worth it. And she forgot my birthday. Which is today.

those are my reasons, in a nutshell
I've had some strong/deep crushes now and then, when I was younger, but that's all, it was mere curiosity mixed with sexual anxiety towards one specific/temporarily interesting person
I also had a GENUINE bromance, it ended...badly
me too. i wanted him to take better care of hisself and maybe play with my pinger, i dunno. he got me into stripclubs, i overindulged, got upset about it. blamed him instead of myself. stopped going to them/answering his phone calls. i hope his number hasn't changed .
It didn't change . Kinda reevaluating it. Still have a soft spot for the brother. At least my vendetta against him is no more and he is getting more money than me at this time. For all time I am with you, you are with me. |
