Mostly, whatever movie is on TCM at the moment is my "go to" movie. lol

But there are some I never get tired of watching. Depending on my mood, I might pull out any of these...

Now, Voyager

Brief Encounter

Gone With The Wind (usually if I'm facing a long afternoon or evening with nothing to do)

Top Hat

The Good-bye Girl

It Happened One Night

Dark Victory

A Room With A View

Private Benjamin

The Lion In Winter

Any Hitchcock movie except The Birds, Psycho and Marnie

Roman Holiday

An American in Paris

Victor Victoria

I know why you don't like The Birds but what is it that you don't like about Psycho and Marnie.

With both The Birds and Psycho, Hitchcock crossed the line from suspense to horror, in my opinion. I don't do horror.

I just didn't think Marnie was very good. shrug

Or a David Lynch movie when I'm in a strange mood...

Gunsmoke fan! highfive

I love, love, love me some Gunsmoke. Tony I don't know about you but I thought Gunsmoke lot just a little bit of something when they went to color. Doesn't mean I don't watch those episodes too but I love the Black and White years of this series. Sucker for the theme music too.

Checkout "Have Gun Will Travel" too. Those two Western series I thought has some of finest writers ever in the history of TV.
