Things would have whizzed by and crashed many times before but due to a larger population, ability to capture and instantly report and the technology of astronomy to detect and chart near earth objects we are no longer oblivious to such events. If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it!

I think asteriods leave scars when they impact. Stony asteroids with a diameter of 4 meters (13 ft) impact Earth approximately once per year.[4] Asteroids with a diameter of 7 meters enter Earth's [patmosphere with as much kinetic energy as Little Boy (the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, approximately 16 kilotons of TNT) about every 5 years, but the air burst only generates a much reduced 5 kilotons of TNT.[4] These ordinarily explode in the upper atmosphere, and most or all of the solids are vaporized.[6] Objects with a diameter of roughly 50 m (164 ft) strike Earth approximately once every thousand years,[7] producing explosions comparable to the one known to have detonated roughly 8.5 kilometers (28,000 ft) above Tunguska in 1908.[8] At least one known asteroid with a diameter of over 1 km (0.62 mi), (29075) 1950 DA, has a possibility of colliding with Earth on March 16, 2880. In regards to the ural mountains meteor. Interesting Meme. Reminds me of the boxing day tsunami. Nowadays, you see the tide disappear you don't go and grab fish, you fuck off. And now, you see a bright light and smoke trail , you don't watch it out the window. Great that we can learn from the unfortunate mistakes of others like never before thanks to the shared knowledge technology affords us. I don't know why you're so scared, we'd be dead by then. I read somewhere the asteroid was to come hit us in 2037. What happened to that prediction?!
