I think that he got bitten... He had what I thought were scratches on his face, but they turned out to be blood streaks. "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

If he was bitten, then he would have turned while galloping in the middle of the woods trying to catch up to Andrea before she reached the prison. So I don't think he was bitten. Unless one of the walkers gashed his side (i.e. Dale, though they opened his stomach). I don't know, seems like they change the rules each season with how one turns into a walker. True... There have been different scenarios:
Shane got up rather quickly, but that guy Jim had a fever for a long time in season one... When they first got into the prison, Glenn checked Maggie for scratches...
I would think that all the blood that gets splashed in their faces would affect them.

I mean that's gross anyways, but I work in a hospital, so that totally skeeves me out. I'm firmly planted in denial

Were any of you ladies going "NO!! EW EW EW!!!!!" when you saw the speculum on the torture device table?
I certainly was!!

I've been wondering about that too.
I just read that per the comics Tyresse becomes Rick's right hand man.
I'm just wondering after all this is over where is everybody going to live? I guess I'm making up my own storyline since they seem to be dragging this out.

I finally watched the episode, and I hate to say it, but I was kinda rooting for Andrea in this episode... I mean, yes she's been annoying as hell all along, and maybe it was because she didn't have a lot of dialogue, but I was actually hoping she'd get to the prison. Dunno what I was hoping would happen after that, but I did want her to get away from the Gov. Of course I still don't like her - and seeing her on The Talking Dead afterwards with makeup that looked more like war paint didn't help much.
Love the way Milton finally seems to be growing a pair!
And I think Tyrese has got the Gov figured out even though he's not letting on...

I felt the same way! She looks way more prettier on the show than she did in person on The Talking Dead. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I just wanna jump in and say that I flat out LOVE Andrea. I find her amazing. I'm sure it'll be Rick who finally takes out the Governor, but I'd love it if she's the one to do it.

What about little glasses dude, he totally wants to kill him.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Yeah, I like Milton. But I'm pretty sure he'll die soon.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Yes, they are definitely hinting that he will, that's why I think it would be cool if he took him out.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Yeah, he's earned a right to take on the Gov too, but Milton's pretty weak, so I can't imagine he'll do anything. Still, I like him and I like how he's trying to do research and keep a history going. A guy like him would be very useful in that kind of situation, in reality at least. But storytelling-wise, I don't know.
If I were the actress playing the blond little sister, I wouldn't get too comfortable either. I'd love it if they killed off Merle. I'm really tired of his character. Darrell is much more interesting and already had the story arc of going from bad buy to good guy, so Merle's pretty much useless.
I was way behind on the series and just caught up by watching the last five episodes in a row this morning. It was actually really satisfying to watch like that. There was a lot of tension and the pacing was nicely spaced out.

I think there is a justifiable reason for a lot of them to be the one to kill the Gov - Glenn and Maggie, Michonne, Milton, Andrea, Merle and Daryl. It will be very unsatisfying if Rick is the one to do it. He's not even sure what he's dealing with. The others know first hand. [Edited 3/19/13 16:14pm]

And how is it that she is this super-human zombie killer? She ran from Woodbury almost to the prison, like she was running the Boston or NYC marathon, then fought groups of walkers with a short little knife.
At least the Governor finally gagged her ass so that we don't have to hear any more of her self-righteous BS.
*Milton, you sneaky dude... Im glad i wasnt the only one who caught that at the end of the show when the govenor gagged andrea i died laughing rofl Smurf theme song-seriously how many fucking "La Las" can u fit into a dam song

This isn't much of a spoiler, but maybe it's a spoiler for some, so I'll hide it in white; highlight the text if you want to read it:
I just read that the actor who plays Milton has been cast as a regular on Unforgettable, so I guess that tells you all you need to know about his chances for survival. [Edited 3/22/13 13:54pm]

Wow! Some surprises tonight.
SPOILER ALERT...
I wasn't ready to see Merle go... and not that way.
Add Daryl to the list of folk who personally want to off the Governor. Honestly, though, I see someone completely unexpected doing it -- Carl, Beth, Herschel or Milton. Or perhaps the Governor will dish out one last indignity and kill himself.
Should be interesting. [Edited 3/25/13 8:56am] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

It was an adventure!
At 9:55, a friend of mine called my cell to talk about the Toure party.
I answered the phone: "YOU DID NOT CALL 5 MINUTES BEFORE THE END OF "WALKING DEAD!!! YOU NEED TO HOLD ON!"
I made him sit there and listen to me freak out about Merle.
Then my house phone rang at 10:01...
My Mom kept saying, "That was so sad! I can't believe he had to kill him. I cried!"

And the funniest part of it all: Michonne is perhaps the least stressed about it all. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

I have to say that it got a little predictable that Merle was going to go after he kicked Michionne out the car. Although he's been an asshole for 95% of the series, I have to say, his 5% of humanity shown in perhaps the last 20 minutes of the episode made me feel sorry for the way he went out. And damn he was so close to taking the Governor out. I have to say, thanks Big Brother.
But Daryl... I just wanted to give him a hug. Poor thing.
Did any of you watch the Talking Dead? Well the guy who plays the Governor, David Morrissey was on it and then half way though they brought out the actor who plays Merle, Michael Rooker. He said that the reason why Merle let Michionne go was because he was tired of hearing her talking.
Norman Reedus (Daryl) will be on Talking Dead next week. [Edited 3/25/13 4:41am] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I thought Michonne was far too carefree about this whole incident--especially as Merle's hostage. She had opportunities to fight or run, but didn't act on them for some reason. It really didn't fit her character. Michonne understood that she would probably die a tortuous death if she were delivered to the Governor.
If the Governor dies on the season finale, I could see Tyrese, his sister, or Milton doing the deed after turning on the Woodbury group.
