Andy dear, please just go ahead and let your doctor examine you. What's a moment's discomfort to the agonizing ravages of cancer? You will simply want to kick yourself in your own scrotum if you refuse and later develop complications. Believe it or not, women have to endure the same "digit" poke, and while it really doesn't hurt that much, it's a sickening feeling. I think it's more painful for men because the doctor has to go deeper to actually palpate the prostate gland. One of my male friends told me his experience and said it was very uncomfortable but the pain didn't last but a few seconds.

That reminds me of a few years ago, I had my previous doctor laughing so hard that she had tears streaming down her face. I had to have two back teeth pulled that year and they put me to sleep to do it. I had never been put to sleep before so I was scared to death. All I remember was being in the dentist chair telling them over and over "I've changed my mind! I've changed my mind!" while they were giving me the gas. The only thing I remember after that, was being placed into my sister's car afterwards. The following week, I kept sticking my tongue around in my mouth and felt something. I was 15 when i lost my virginity to a 22 year old woman. Technically it was statutory rape but i didn't view what happened as rape. I grew up fast so I was a willing participant. Thirty years removed from the incident and i still don't see it as anything that was harmful to me.

The conflicting thing to me is if it was a 22 year old man having sex with a 15 year old girl ? For some reason that does seem different. I think a big part of it has to do with the maturity of the teenager though.
