Face tattoo after first date update: Ink artist, Rouslan Toumaniantz, is at the center of more controversy since a woman accused him of tatting her face while she was sleeping three years ago. This time, a Russian graduate student fell head over heels after a first date with Toumaniantz, who obliged her by tattooing her face with -- get this – his name.

According to a follow up story on Feb. 5 from Huffington Post, the tattoo artist inked his name on Lesya Toumaniantz's face only hours after they met.

The smitten woman, who proudly dons the tattoo, "Ruslan" in Gothic letters across her face, loves her newly-minted boyfriend so much that she wants him to ink every part of her body. Imagine that?

Reportedly, Rouslan and Lesya met online in a chat room, made plans to meet and the rest is history. What's more, she's moved one step towards walking down the aisle when she changed her last name on Facebook to -- you guessed -- Toumaniantz.

On why she got her face tattooed after the first date, the bride-to-be said this:

"It's a symbol of our eternal devotion. I'd like him to tattoo every inch of my body."

Regarding the controversy three years ago, Toumaniantz rose to stardom -- sort of -- in 2009 when a woman accused him of tatting 56 stars on her face while she was asleep.

However, Kimberley Vlaminck, 18 at the time, admitted to making the story up when her father lashed out at her over the extreme face art.

First of all, apologies if this was already posted. The search function here hasn't worked for me for at least six months. I looked around and didn't see it, sooo...

OK, I'm not what you would call a "softy", generally speaking. But my first response to this was a very sad, "WTF?!", followed by an equally sad, sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. Why would anybody do this to another person? Why would a person allow this to be done to themselves?

Naturally, I got over the feelings mentioned above with a quickness and realized, A) people are assholes, B) people are stupid.

In regards to B, as much as it leaves me shaking my head in disbelief, if you're dumb enough to let somebody tattoo their name across your face in four inch letters on your first date then you got what you deserved.

A, one the other hand, that one isn't so simple for me. I find that a most sickening example of grotesquely taking advantage of another human beings stupidity, or naivety at the very least, and very far from easily forgivable. If I was a family member, or even a friend of that girl, I do not imagine I would be able to hold my peace.

A Russian college graduate is drawing stares after allowing her new boyfriend to tattoo his name on her face -- the day they met in person.

According to British tabloid The Sun, Lesya Toumaniantz allowed her beau, Rouslan Toumaniantz, to ink "Ruslan" across both her cheeks in...ic letters, 5 inches tall.

The pair reportedly met in an online chatroom and now are engaged. Lesya has already changed her last name to Toumaniantz on Facebook.

"It's a symbol of our eternal devotion. I'd like him to tattoo every inch of my body," she said, according to Gawker.

Rouslan Toumaniantz gained Internet infamy in 2009, when a young woman accused him of tattooing 56 stars on her...s sleeping. Kimberley Vlaminck, 18 at the time, later recanted her story, admitting she had lied after her father was furious over the face design.

The Guardian notes that, while once seriously taboo, face tattoos are growing in popularity -- even a former Czech presidential candidate has gone under the needle.

Predictably, some come to regret their face art, as was the case with professional wrestler Eric Hartsburg, who got Mitt Romney's 2012 campaign logo tattooed on his face for $15,000. Hartsburg has since decided to have...o removed.

Disgusting.

I was thinking the same thing. WTF was he thinking? The moment she said she wanted her boyfriend's name on both sides of her face in large letters he shouldve said NO. Im pretty sure she didnt pay him a million dollars. Don't know her age its evident this girl really has issues.

That's what I'm saying! Her, I feel a little sad for, but it was her stupid decision to let it happen, so what can you do? Him, I want to hit with something, large and heavy, preferably with sharp pointly pieces included. Even if she's BEGGING you to do it, just say no.
