With all the talk about war, etc. lately, thought I'd ask: Could you kill a person, and under what circumstances?

Yes. It takes all of my willpower not to lash out on any given day (and I don't even own a gun).

Yes, I could and I would. Should the situation arise where someone had done harm to my children, I would kill them. Without blinking an eye.

I have had fantasies about doing it.. But only to people that have given me grief or a problem.. I dont' think given if i had a gun in my hand if i would be able to go though with it though. That is a lot sitting on the brain then..

Unfortunately for me, I could only kill someone if they pissed me off... and that happens all too often.

Yes definitely...but you really dont know until you are faced with that situation...

Sometimes weak people have an inner strength inside themselves that is hidden deeply and when faced with such a problem, it all comes out... Surprising yes! C'est La Vie!

In self-defense or in the defense of an innocent party, yes.

There's a small number of people who've been in my life who I'd happily watch die before me. I don't care what anybody else thinks, but I would love to kill them in the slowest, most painful way possible.

if i was threatened or someone was threatining people i care about and they were gonna kill me or them then i could kill them yes, but only in self defence.

Interesting...a lot of "yes" votes...

I think I could too, in the name of justice or self-defense...but actually going through with it...heh...who can really say? It's not as trivial as slicing bread obviously...

Only if they posed a serious threat to me or my loved ones.

If someone deserved it---it woud be more

Apart from that old lady I bludgeoned to death with a stale baguette last week cos' she queue-jumped me at the bus stop, she was just asking for it.

Seriously though I'd like to think that I could never kill anyone, but I do have a terrible temper if I'm pushed too far. It takes an awful lot to get me going but when I do finally blow my top its like world war 3.
