Ponds , Alba and Yes to Carrots , Cucumbers ,Tomatoes and blueberries

Shea Moisture Hair products are all natural and not tested on animals. The coconut and hibiscus smoothie does wonders for my curls.

I also use Organic Coconut oil as a conditioning treatment. Also makes my hair grow longer and have no dandruff.

Anything from the Body Shop. I use their tea tree face wash to keep the break outs in check, as well as their strawberry lip balm, because it's the only balm I've used (and I have many) that keeps my lips moisturized.

I also got into using Pond's Cold Cream and Dry Skin Cream. I know that's old-fashioned, but I have extremely sensitive skin. Even Neutrogena make up remover wipes burn me. The cold cream is the only make up remover that doesn't burn, and no rubbing required to take off waterproof mascara. The dry skin cream is because of the cold here makes my skin flake.

That's all I can think of right about now.

There are a surprising variety of places that offer cruelty free and vegan products. Much more than I could ever imagine before mostly swapping to them a few years ago.

I'm still rather 'cruel' in my selection of clothes, but I'm trying to reduce that as much as possible. It's an investment and commitment.

The clothes might be cruelty free (not made of animals), but the clothes are cruel to the eyes. What f'n ugly clothes.

I'm a big fan of Mary Kay and they are cruelty-free. They haven't always been and they changed, which I admire as well.

I just went on peta's website and they are now listed as a company that tests on animals. I did the research before I switched to them a few years ago so I'm a little confused as I specifically remember reading about them changing their practices.

I will have to look into it more.

Looking into it more, it appears peta changed them to the DOES tests on animals list about a year ago as in order to sell their cosmetics in China they are required by law to test on animals.

The policy I can find online states:

Mary Kay does not conduct animal testing on its products or ingredients, nor ask others to do so on its behalf, except when absolutely required by law. There is only one country where the company operates – among more than 35 around the world – where that is the case and where the company is required by law to submit products for testing – China.

I'll have to think about this one.

I'm not sure this makes it any better, but I would assum that they are testing products ALREADY being used by people on these animals, and therefore not causing any harm to the animals?

Unless of course the rigors of such testing go far beyond just the application of the product to skin, etc.

I love the Chinese people I know dearly but I find their government wonky.

this is really beautiful this cherry blossom perfume set it smell so gorgeous and sensual ... its my favourite ...product
