When I deal with stupid young people I never stoop down to their level, no matter how much they frustrate me. I stick to the point only and stay polite in the process, yet firm. Then walk away once I get what I need out of the situation. Usually the kid will either wise up - apologize or end up in a fast path of self-destruction. It never takes long. The worse is when you meet adults that behave that way. disbelief

I'm so glad I was having a good night before that -- he was about to take my spirit in a place where he was about to get the spirit of Christmas past put on his ass

As my mamma us to say, "Life is going to teach you what you need to know." I wonder about these parents, what are they trying to prove. One day you will die, then what? lol

Sometimes I wonder if the adults who behave that way are basically just big kids who never got checked. lol

For me I'm wondering at what point do they go from just being wild kids to plain out disrespectful young adults?

We have a 7-12 yr. old Sunday School section where I care only for the children with disabilities and special physical needs. Now mind you, I am only responsible for that teeny tiny section of the children, but newly fermented testosterone has taken over the 11 & 12 year old boys in the class so badly disbelief ...it's messing up the atmosphere for the rest of the kids and I can't even concentrate for the noise, talking back, and brouhaha constantly going on confused . I'm at the point now where the teachers aren't stepping up, the parents aren't authoritative or just plain nonchalant to the notes being sent to them after class, so I find myself stepping out of my zone to tell these bad ass kids to be quiet because they do not listen to the other adults at all.

So far, me getting up, silently walking over to them with a stern look on my face with a finger to my lips is working like a charm, but...for how long if they don't get any reinforcement anywhere else? I hate to say it, but I think some of these boys are going to have serious socialization issues as time goes on.

While i don't believe in corporal punishment, some of these kids, I hate to admit it, need a lesson learned.

My parents never did hit me or anything, but they instilled in me a conscience and a sense of family honour. They also taught me a fear of God. And well, that kept me out of trouble as a kid and as an adult.

I blame the advent of technology partially for these lippy ass kids. Instead of their parents spending more time with their children, they just hand them iPods and cell phones as pacifiers to keep them quiet. This I believe teaches kids to just zone out if something displeases.annoys them rather than talk about it. Not only that, but it creates a sense of instantaneous gratification. If something is not done quickly or something doesn't work, they'll throw a fit rather than try to look for reasonable means to fix it.

Kids don't even play with toys anymore. I mean, I see more toddlers with iPads rather than dolls or stuffed animals than not.

But the essentia jist of what i'm saying is, parents don't teach their kids any respect and they don't pay enough attention to what happens in their children's lives. These kids grow up without a moral compass or any form of discipline to take care of themselves as a result.

Just my two cents.

A lot of these kids will get a brutal life lesson. One day they'll run their mouth to someone in the street (who doesn't give a fuck about assault charges), and get seriously fucked up. In some cases, sliced or shot.

The threat of going to jail keeps me from going to town on these knuckleheads. Unless someone touches me, I leave shit alone.

some fools never grow the hell up. I just wish the kids they raise grow up to beat their dumb asses when they are old.

Its negative .... but its how I feel.
