What Do You Say When People Constantly Complain ''I'm So Fat''

Oy vey kao jai! if i hear one more person complain about being fat i swear... lol

A. Most people complaining about this are not aat and in fact either have an average body type or a very fit one... both are great body types so what the fuss?. If you have some meat on your bones it does not mean your Un-healthy when you are 450 ibs THAT IS NOT HEALTHY if you have some meat on you don't be so ashamed

B. I'm not one to get offended over anything really but when people that are skinny as hell complain about ''omg i am 350 ibs omg i ate a Cheeto i must go to the gym for 5 hours'' get's on my nerves-.- i used to be 110 ibs heavier and THAT my friend's is fat you don't know what being overweight is like so don't pretend because you wear a size 5 instead of a 4 you now have a clue.
C. Those who complain the most don't do ANYTHING about it. I Won't pretend i eat healthy everyday cause well i don't lol. But i workout everyday and anytime i do eat something i don't fret about it much cause i am in good shape. if you truly TRULY feel you are just so terrible overweight then complaining about it everyday won't change a thing.

D. Can you not be happy with who you are? as stated above having some meat or a little bit of an ass is not a crime and it's not unattractive. Quit playing into the media stereotypes of white abercrombie and Fitch models(There not that good looking anyways imo razz). Some of you are very young and in school or working... focus on what's most important in your life and don't force yourself to look a certain way just to please others... anything you do With your body do it for YOU

This is coming from someone who has had body image problems his whole life and i have come to terms and i started working out hardcore last summer after not doing so for over a year... and i feel great!

As said above i eat healthy somedays.. other's i don't and i'm fine with that and happy with it.

But i have so many people day in, day out complain about how overweight they are yet they either look fine or don't want to do shit about it...

What do you do? do you let continue to wallow in misery? do you try to help them? do you just let it be?

I tell them they can do if they get some discipline and are willing to make a lifestyle chage (for the rest of your life, not just a month or two). Complaining about it won't change a damn thing.

Problem is, too many folks want a quick fix. Like everything in life, it takes hard work and sacrifice.

That is some fucking preacher shit man lol

I started working out/eating healthy circa 08? lost a bunch of fat and gained muscle but around 2011 i kind of just blahed out a lot and had to quit the gym.

I did workout and walked a lot but it wasn't doing much.... and last may i started the gym and personal training and i still do that! couldn't be happier smile

I am int he best shape of my life and it has been a LONG process... i try to tell peeps that as i had to learn that the hard way.... but meh if people can't have that quick fix they say fuck it confused

It's been my experience that the majority of people, especially women, who always use that "I'm so fat" line are not fat at all. We've all been conditioned to believing you have to be rail-thin in order to be attractive or normal. If you have ANY meat on your bones, then you're made to feel like you're fat when you are really just normal. I've worked with so many skinny women over the years who were always whinning about how fat they are. It's really sickening. But, then you have the women and men who really are over-weight and I very seldom hear them belly-aching about it. Weird.

I ain't lazy when it comes to being fit and taking care of your body.I had 2 bad knees, microfracture on both and couldn't do much and hardly nothing for 3 years and managed to maintain a healthy body weight.I couldn't run,cut or jump.I joined a gym and took up swimming, the one exercise I could do pain free.I went on a strict diet and that took alot of discipline.

Most people would rather sit on their fat ass and watch tv all day.I threw my television out one time.Stop bitching, get off your fat ass and do some exercise or just love the fat body you have.Start with fast brisk walks, then do some jogging and cycling.Find a activity or sport you like, which will make you drop some lbs.

Depends on whether they actually are fat or not.

If they are not, I tell them to chill and that they are not fat.

If they are, I say: "Yes, you are indeed. Why don't you try eating less?"

shrug

not really, because they don't want to draw even MORE attention to something they are probably already self-conscious about.

Like I said on G&H's FB post, skinny folks whining about their fatness are attention seeking/compliment fishing looking for assurance. It's not a physical issue for them, it's MENTAL

I agree with this, and I despise that sort of validation whore passive aggression. Unless I think they have a legitimate body dysmorphic disorder and honestly aren't seeing their lean physicality the way it truly is, when some thin person complains about being "fat," I'll usually say something quite biting, if I acknowledge them at all.

Those who truly do have an overweight problem don't as often whine, I've also found. But when they do give voice to their concern, I'm far more ready to be supportive and nurturing, if candid, about their need to slim down for their own good.

The weird thing is for me it wasn't. It happened in months, and I was actually trying to gain weight.

I just didn't realize how much I had gained and the fact that a paltry small amount was muscle.

Losing it has been an on-again/off-again process. I've been losing ever-so-slowly, but no longer

make it a 'big deal' in the looks department--I am EXTREMELY concerned in the health department.

I don't care what fat people tell me--it is not healthy.... Not on your blood, your muscles, your

organs, your brain, your knees, etc. It's simply not healthy.

So, I strive on. lol

I never even thought about it that way. You may be right. Just another way for skinny people with fat EGOS to seek attention or validation. Instead of replying, "no, you are not fat", I'm going to start saying, "Well, I really didn't want to say anything, but you have gained quite a bit of weight", and watch the looks of horror on their faces. omfg evillol

I'm thinking i should lke tina and others and not play the game lol

I bitched about it for awhile... and last year i decided to do something and re-join the gym.. i just like did it out of pure impulse.

I have this one guy who is a beautiful Chinese guy he who is like...... the furthest definition of fat lol

But he gained a few and i mean a few punds and instead of a size 4 he wears a 5 and he think's it's the end of the world!

It doesn't help his friend's call him fat... he always say's ''oh you are so sweet to me''

i tell him homeboy you need better friend's lol

lol

I say that because in reality, I am a FEEDER.

I love to feed. I feed the office. I feed my family. I feed my friends. Can't visit anyone without a pie or gallon of ice cream in tow (pref BOTH). My pantry at home is always full and I can't walk out of a supermarket spending less than $30 or $40 even if I stop in to just get a gallon of milk. Everyone in the office knows when they see a pack of cinnamon rolls or a box of donuts on the counter that I'm responsible. In fact we have a "Friday" routine where I hit the local bagel shop and everyone puts in an order...Friday Morning Breakfast has become a part of our standard office operations.

I don't like to talk about it...much less complain about it....it's embarrassing to me how I could let myself get this place.

I recently discovered how food can be tied to emotional events in your life and sometimes you don't even understand what's happening to you until you start having to buy bigger clothes. I'm going to make some changes and get back to healthy but not with any help with some of these comments.

Skinny people are fucked up in the head too dontcha know?
