This is one of the dumbest things society ever came up with. I believe this shit originated with the hip-hop culture. When I was coming up in the 70s and 80s, we didn't have "bro-hugs". I just don't understand why all of a sudden in the 90s, if a man hugged another man, there was a sexual connotation connected to it, even if the two men were related. Even old men try and do this dumb shit. How sad that we really reduced ourselves to associating men showing friendly affection towards other men as something sexual? Men are too defensive towards each other. No wonder two grown men would come to blows over a parking space.
