What's your ideal Valentines Day Gift?

  1. Chocolates with almonds or caramel
  2. Books
  3. Music
  4. Cards , a whole bunch of them

Whats your favorite or ideal gift.

A beautiful card

A big box of chocolates, you know, the one shaped like a heart made out of satin with a great big bow

A bouquet of fresh flowers

Gourmet dinner at an expensive restaurant. No Red Lobster for me, dammit. I'll gut a nuccah's throat!

A good old fashioned fuck my brains out roll in the hay to complete the evening.

I like the heart shaped boxes , when I'm done with the chocolates sometimes i put the cards in them. I also like the icon of the baby , it's so beautiful

Actually, the baby is a life-like doll.

I would love chocolates and flowers but alas, my bf is just not the Valentine's day type. I will probably get a card as long as I remind him he's supposed to give me one. And he has an evening class on Valentine's day so there won't be any kind of dinner.

He writes his cards very well. So there is that.

We don't have money for the typical Valentines Day stuff.

I will make a card though...

Maybe even dinner...going to need to eat it anyway...

Break out an old...dusty...bottle of wine...

How's this for making an effort?

er

I refuse to take part in St.Valentine's day & haven't done for yeeeears. Why should Hallmark, Interflora & Cadbury's dictate when I express my romantic side? Total money making scam so it is! Wakened up in a right cynical mood this morning lol

OMG, girl, do you know since I moved overseas I am completely obsessed with American chain restaurants?

Now see, this is the perfect example of craving what you can't have, because I actually think I would knock an old lady down a flight of stairs if I knew there was a Red Lobster or Cheesecake Factory sitting somewhere in front of her evillol

Make pasta by hand together.

Hell, all you need is a 1 1/2 cups of flour and 2 eggs, a fun state of mind and some strong arms (for rolling the dough smile .

add that card, the old dusty wine,

put some good tunes on the music player

and you guys will have some fun, alright! heart

my husband has to work this year on valentine's day. pout so we will celebrate the weekend after valentine's day when he is off from work for 3 days. this year i'm not sure what we're doing yet? but my husband always gives me a thoughtful gift of some sort, and we usually go to dinner somewhere nice. this year he's keeping it a surprise.

be kind, be a friend, not a bully.

now this is what l would certainly cook and make it for candlelight for 2

right out in the ocean view with a nice glass of wine....

with romantic music play in background

or a man come and play some nice classical violin music to serenade the night

hows tht ???

tht would be on my agenda

heart

I casually mentioned to the bf today that he could get me chocolate for Vday if he wanted to.

He laughed.

We'll see what that means. lol

I do like the idea of cooking together. We are both pretty good cooks. Maybe I'll figure that out for the Friday after.
