All I gotta say is this. I liked & respected Lance when he won those championships. I believed him when he said the Officials were on a Witch Hunt and they were liars.
Now it turns out they had every right to BLAST his Ass out of the water for CHEATING in EVERY race. I actually felt sorry for him when the Officials dogged him out Publicly and stripped him of his titles and talked about how could he live with himself. I thought that was over-kill but they had evidence and they said all those things based on Facts & the Truth.
Lance is a walking lie and based on the Oprah clips he still hasnt cleaned up his mess. He actually BULLIED his teammates into taking Drugs. Lance was a Drugged out Monster and now that the truth is out he deserved to be SLAMMED by the cycling Officials and we see him for the CON that he is...

When Armstrong won 7 straight Tours, my first issue was I suspected no other member of his team was expected to actually compete for the win, just to protect him.
When the allegations of doping came about, I was not surprised. I mean, during my lifetime, there've been steriods scandals in college football, pro football, and MLB. In the wake of McGwire, Sosa, and Bonds, how could ANYONE be surprised that a cancer survivor "used" to come back? Not just to win ONE, but SEVEN? It's possible to do so "clean," but improbable. But tje allegations were never proven so suspicions remained just that.
SUPRMAN, RodeoSchro and others nailed it. Lance didn't "take care" of key witnesses to protect himself. Lance destroyed his, with the money and goodwill he amassed during his improbable run.
If Canseco could tell the truth, so could Lance's competitors, even if they had dirty hands.
THAT's why people have issues with him. Justifiably so. Even those who used and spoke out -- and their families -- didn't deserve that treatment. [Edited 1/24/13 10:02am] Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

Just read Robin Williams said he now feels betrayed by Lance's lies... he'd been defending the nincompoop since the allegations first emerged.

I agree. American English has gone straight to hell. It's downright pitiful.
