at a list price over $500 ($259 on amazon) I would over priced. But they look nice, they better sound good.

I was looking 4 some repsonses from anyone who actually has a pair or have at least used them in some fashion.

I can't imagine spending over $199 on headphones myself, but again I'm old-school cheap.

I'm considering buying myself a good pair of headphones...but "good" for me means around $50. I don't even own an iPod b/c I'm too cheap to spend the $150 it would cost to replace my water-damaged iPod touch.

I have a 200 dollar pair of Sennheiser's I got for a graduation present. I love them.

I am curious about the AKGs but I'm not enough of an audiophile to plunk down that kinda change.

I would love a pair of headphones

but represents the range well.

The IT guy here at work wears an old beat-up digital watch that he got from RADIO SHACK like 30 years ago...cracked face & all...because it's the most accurate watch he's ever seen.

Ok.........I gave these 701's a ride last night.

I'm blown away by the detail of these headphones.

I'm going 2 spend the rest of the week tweaking my studio raw mix 2 sound as flat as these headphones.

If I can pull that off..........lookout.
