You live near the place, right? So, you 'only' need to buy tickets.
You didn't go?

XxAxX was trying to get tickets at work and the site crashed. By the time it came back up, she'd had to get back to work.
The ticket sale started earlier than originally posted so by the time XxAxX could get back to the site all the tickets were sold out.
XxAxX
I feel so bad for you, seriously. I'd be gutted! I hope there is a way that you can get to the show.

Oooooooooooooohhhh.
That's really bad news.
I hope that somehow, miraculously XxAxX can go there.
Happened to me once. I couldn't afford tickets to London O2 concert. A collegue of a friend did have tickets, however could not attend. So my friend called my (now ex) husband and told him that he could make me happy.
I didn't know if this. So, he told me he got me a surprise present that would make me forget about all his bad behaviour. He said I could never guess what he got me.
He was shocked that I said "Prince tickets in O2". Which was the only thing that would really make me happy.
When we went into the arena of O2, there was a camera on our seats. The organisation had contacted the original buyers of the tickets, so that's why we didn't know. We got seats on the floor!! In front of the stage, with som much space to dance. The seats around us weren't taken, I danced my ass of that night. I had a better seat than Wil.I.Am who was on stage with him that night!
That was true heaven, I was so happy, never would have thought I ever would have the best seats for his show.
So, maybe XxAxX will experience something magical like that too. Maybe, she can get a ticket because somebody else gets sick. Or something like that.
I really hope so, she is an angel, I really wish her to be able to attend.

How much can you bench pressed now?
Maybe you can spend some of that $500 on gym equipment 2014-Year of the Parties

^ hmmmmm. it is january mind you, and cold outside. i almost got frostbite waiting outside paisley park in 1999, or was it 2000? not sure. anyway i doubt there will be any 'extra' room inside. it's not like folks will leave and a space would open up. prince is a living legend and you know people would bite me on the nose if i tried to somehopw sneak in and take someone's place. i can only hope he will maybe have a party at paisley park, or a larger venue, which he announces with a few more hours' warning than, say, five hours. good heavens he's making it hard to see him. five hours warning and poof! sold out

Yes, it's a good one.
Do you also bike outside?
Feel guilty.
I should be going to the gym
However, I didn't.
Also should have finished hanging up the wallpaper.
In stead I've been here and procastinating.

That'd be £312 ish.
It wouldn't really go very far....
But I would like some snow boots. And I do like to buy clothes. So I suppose i'd just blow it on a shopping trip.

no. i rarely bike outside unless i'm on a dirt bike on trails through the woods. it's just too scary dodging crazy drivers on the road, sharing the asphalt with cars.... i'm a sissy
the new bike is amazing. got my heart pounding within ten minutes. i do believe this will work

OMG for some reason that just reminded me of the two lone dollar stores we appear to have here: have you ever been to Euro Point at Wandsbek Markt or Schenefeld EKZ in Hamburg ? I can't tell you how happy my American ass is to have that place.

I don't know what the current rate of exchange is, so I'm guessing right now US $500 is about 400 Euros. Meh. With that I guess I'd hop over to the Balearic Islands to Mallorca. A 4 day weekend with light breakfast & dinner should cost about that right now:
Either that, or get a jump on next year's winter wardrobe by picking up some good sale pieces since everything is 70% off now.

See, I read it as; "Help someone BY buying an old movie."

In the US a bike is not considered a mode of transportation, right?
It's just for sports?
My bike is my sole mode of transport. I don't have a drivers license, so if I do leave the city, I use public transport.
It's nice you have your bike inside, training at home is nice!

I want to know what you would do for $500.00! "Aren't you even curious? Don't you want to see the dragon behind the door?"
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
yes that's mostly true. i was an odd one insofar as i never bought a car until i was around 40; i used public transport and traveled around and lived in a lot of different places back then. lots of people do use bicycles here in minneapolis and we have a pretty excellent number of bicycle trails in parks and special lanes for bikes on roads. but it's hard to use a bicycle as sole transport in minnesota, winter is too icy and cold for that.
