Funny stories about public education

1.I didn't go to school the last 2 months of 8th grade in JHS,because of bullying and fighting.I still got promoted to highschool and the 9th grade.

2.I punched a kid for bullying me and teacher did nothing. It happened right in front of her.

3.I passed 4 semesters of French, beside only knowing Bonjour and Oui Oui as french words.

4.I had class call "music appreciation".We brought cds to class and played our music for entire semester. That was fun.

5.My 5th grade teacher said "Im a good teacher, because Im a Mets fan".I never forget that one.

The thing about French class. My teacher Mr Vasiliadis moved back home,I think France and the new teacher was Ms Quinoff. She looked at our class, especially me and wondered how the fuck did you make it this far.We were up to French5(5th semester)I was gonna major in French(6 semesters)but I quickly had to changed.I got a grade of 15 after 1st report card.I dumped the class, luckily it was the last class on my schedule.

My old teacher Vasiliadis(think thats how you spell it) would never gives us homework or test/quizzes.He would say funny shit like "I throw dabomb", pretend taking a grenade out of his pants."I got treetrunk thighs".That was another thing he said.

I had a secret for 8th grade.I attended homeroom, which was 10 minutes long and you get marked present for the day,but I didn't attend classes afterwards.I would sneak through back of the building and jumped the gate and leave.

I guess it worked or NYC dept of ED didn't care.I rode subway/bus with free transportation pass to kill time during the day, until it was time to go home.

This thread should be called "Pathetic Stories About My School Career"...

We teachers have it hard enough in the public eye right now, without you starting a thread that generalizes and opens it up for others to bash our profession. neutral

I hope others understand that your experiences are not the norm in public schools.

Your lies, they cut me.
Now your words don't mean a thing.
I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..."

Everything I said here is true.

If you don't believe me FUCK YOU!

I had a social studies teacher who never communicated with the class. She wrote her long lessons on the chalkboard, when she was done, she just eat her apple and not say a word to the class.

I had a teacher called Ms Lipschutz- "Lipshits"

Oh I felt bad for her.
