I hold no one in higher regard than Prince...no one.

He cuts no corners and has the drive of a madman.

I hate all who cut corners. LANCE.

That's why, that's all.

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Didn't he sue the hell out of some poor Times journalist for doing an article about how he might be cheating and nearly finished the poor guys career?

That's pretty low when you know damn well you have been cheating...

I don't hate Lance and I don't pity him. He made his bed now lie in it.

I just think he is a loser a very sore loser.

I think this is why people are so disgusted by him; he almost ruined people's lives by suing them when they were just telling the truth.

I don't care for the man and he deseves whatever comes to him.

My brother, who is an avid cycling enthusiast, and I used to argue bitterly when Lance was winning all the races while being treated for cancer. I told him there was no friggin way in hell that Lance could win all those races without some sort of drug. I went through chemo myself, and while I didn't get violently ill most of the time, it was no picnic either. It can wipe you out physically. For years, my brother defended him, and I told him, "You watch. Years down the line, the shit will hit the fan, and we will find out that he's been lying his ass off." I don't hate or dispise him. I just have no respect for him. None. hmph! And for those who think he's done so much for cancer research, that doesn't wash with me either. The money he donated was dirtry: drug money.

Basically

1. He is a drug cheat

2. He is a lyin drug cheat

3. It took his ass years to own up to being a lyin drug cheat.

Nuff said. razz

Plus the TDF organisers are not going to give the true winners their due recognition or their trophies.

I think he did great things for cancer research....and I think the world should have known....but oh well the foundation may great strides.

I think it's funny how Cheryl Crow was singing the opera to investigators about his doping come investigation time. You do folks dirty, it comes back around. He did both his wife and Cheryl dirty. But Cheryl may have, or should have known he was a jerk. But she got her revenge.

I wouldnt say people "hate" him. Most people I know dont even know who he is or just dont care about the situation. It seems the media as usual is making an athlete the poster child for drugs/steroids.

This is not shocking or new and the people that really care about this are reallly dumb because majority of athletes use steroids. What athlete doesnt use steroids? lol

Ok.....Maybe thats an exaggeration razz but there are alot of athletes that have used these drugs for years and will never get caught!

So why do people act so shock about it when someone finally gets caught, is beyond me. He definitly is not the only one and Im quite sure will not be the last. I didnt even know who he was before this whole thing and could care less either way.

When people told the truth about him, he destroyed their lives.

But other than that, I'm sure he's a great guy.

I don't hate Lance Armstrong. I was never a fan of his nor was I ever a fan of watching bicycling races. Lance is NOT the first person in bicycling that has cheated and he most likely will not be the last. But he is found guilty for being THE most successful at it.

Well, he's a dirty liar and a cheat, but apparently so is everyone else in the sport.

And that said, he beat every one of those other cheats. Like Barry Bonds, who still had to hit those pitches, and did.

I'm not all that up in arms about his cheating. Not that I'd ever respect a cheater, even if (insert teenager voice here) "Everyone is doing it!"

But Armstrong destroyed the careers and lives of those who had the courage to call him out and speak the truth about him.

I am NOT OK with destroying someone else's life. So as far as I'm concerned, Lance Armstrong can go fuck himself until he bleeds.

Then you don't understand.

It's not about the doping. Sure other atheletes have doped, but it's not the majority.

Worse than the doping though was the lying, repeatedly about it.

He bullied and sued others who challenged his lies. That's the galling behavior that has people up in arms. You abused others knowing you were lying?

Now you admit they were right after destroying their lives and credibility?!!!

Some people may not find that bothersome, plenty others do. (That's not directed at you personally. Being unaware you can't be expected to have a viewpoint.)

I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

It's not even that he cheated at cycling as much as the way he treated those who called him out on his conduct.

Blaming a woman that Lance choose to have romantic/sexual relations with as an excuse for him losing credibility is borderline sexist, not to mention it's total bullshit.

Lance lost his credibility because he was taking sport enhancing drugs and lied about the whole situation. Period. End of story.

No one "hates" Lance. They just don't condone to his cheating just to get a win. That's all.

I thought we agreed to get rid of "they hating" in 2012? neutral

THAT^ is how Lance was successful at it. He was a little bit of a psychological bully.
