What are your predictions for 2013? (The GD Edition) I'll start this thread with my predictions:
1. Rhianna will be pregnant and become a first time mother before 2014. Chris Brown will be the biological father.
2. In the upcoming 2013-14 NFL regular season, The New Orleans Saints will go 15-1 (Atlanta Falcon being the only road game lost) as part of another NFLSuper Bowl winning season.
3. The Miami Heat will win the 2013 NBA Final within 6 games against the Los Angeles Clippers.
4. The music careers of Psy, Cher Lloyd, & New Direction before 2014............OVA!!!

1. Syrian current president will not stay, dispite of the support he gets from Putin.
2. Putin will continue to intensify his power, make himself even richer than he already is, and view human rights as a big joke. He will keep joshin the US and Europe and not care about anybody else but himself.
3. Fascist, racist and right wing parties will gain more support in Europe. Blaming the immigrants is a popular method to canalize that uncomfortable feeling the current crisis brings about.
4. The gap between poor and rich will become painfully visible in China. However, nobody will dare to defy the government.
5. India's economy will develop positively. And with that, the people will continue to pressure for more change.
6. The republicans will block any attempt that positively influence the U.S. economy. They just don't want Obama to succeed. They are willing to sacrifice the civilians for that.
7. Muslims will keep on hating. The moderate Muslims will continue their quest to bring change and peace.
8. I don't even want to think about what Israel is up to.
9. Internet wins from TV.

3. The Kepler discoveries will become increasingly more interesting.

9. We'll see some intriguing reforms from North Korea
10. Near-space privitization gets into full swing with competing company vying for some of Space-X's business---this acceleration will continue to drive down prices and further technology.
11. Muslim fundementalists will still cause trouble throughout the world, and people will still blame American foreign policy instead of their batshit crazy religion.
12. Affordable Health care in the US will cause workers to start seeking employment with smaller firms, forcing bigger firms to come up with solutions for attracting employees. [hope springs eternal]
13. Republicans will still be obstructinists in congress while several will still be fighting a losing culture war.
14. Democrats will still be ineffective girlymen
15. Tom Cruise, Kevin Spacey, and John Travolta will all have accusations thrown at them for dingleplay
16. Sinead O'connor will work on a brilliant new album
17. Zsa Zsa Gabor will pass, as will some pretty surprising and shocking deaths from other stars.
18. At least 1 major medical breakthrough will be announced. I mean MAJOR
19. I'm finally get to sleep with an Iranian man. lawd
