Org words of wisdom Okay...this is completely inspired by Mach's comment in the X'mas gift thread.
"Presence over presents"
How awesome is that?
So in the spirit of passing on words of wisdom, I wanted to share something I recently read (old-timer advice);
"Don't marry someone you don't love, and don't marry someone just because you love them."
Wish I had listened to THAT advice when I was young.

I love my partner to death and I already feel like I am married to him..of course not on paper and all but...i don't know if I would trade names and social security numbers with him for sure lol.

From my own experience:
Don't mistaken politeness and praising words for sincerity.
Don't believe promises on their own--trust instead the overall actions of a person over time.
It's perfectly ok not to forgive nor crave forgiveness. Just don't be an asshole about it.
When a latino father, single and searching, flirts with you online, make sure he's not hopping from bed to bed with the frequency of a cheap HAM radio.
