Not a damn thang. My brother doesn't give gifts anymore, and Mom & Dad are gone. But I give him gifts. I bought him one of those tinted car sun visors to filter the eastern or western sun glare; a pair of night driving clip on visors for his eyeglasses and a "Hurrycane." Yeah, we two old ass crippled mofoes; he's 65 and I'm 62. I bought myself the same 3 items, too. lol

Same here. Satan Claus hasn't come to see me in years because I'm too damn bad all year round. lol

No, but we don't do gifts anymore either because we're already broke as hell and by the time you spend about $20 on several people, you're really out of some money and in the hole. Besides, anything for around $20 that we really wanted, we would have already bought it for ourselves anyway. lol

Six Novels In Woodcuts by Lynd Ward

Star Trek Federation: The First 150 Years (sooooo incredibly geeky! lol )

Kitchen:

New immersion blender, food processor (the one that adjusts the blade height from the outside), good knife set, and set of three frying/saute pans, all things I badly needed. A bunch of whole spices, too.

Well, some of my childhood friends took pity on me and gave me some nice gifts. I have dinner at her open house every Christmas Eve and she gave me a scent diffuser, the kind with the reeds that stick in a bottle of fragrance. Her sister gave me a mini bottle of Champagne, a box of shortbread cookies, a purse mirror and purse tissues. I was pleasantly surprised and grateful.

Thanks! It's pretty cool. I'll post a pic of it once I've framed it.

I'm the only one in the family who reeeeeally likes Prince. My hubby likes him, but he has .org issues...whatevs...

My stepmom always thought he was meh, until she saw the RnRHOF induction/While My Guitar Gently Weeps appearance and now she likes him, not like me lol but she sees why I like him like I do.

lol lol lol YOU, need to quit. Take care of yourself now, cuz whatever is going around is ruff.

I had mighty fine Christmas, we just chilled. It was a very small affair this year just my family and mom. We had all the food and trimmings but we didn't do the "formal" dinner thing.

What gigabyte size do you have? Don't worry we will be discusses what apps you like but checkout TunIn Radio, I don't bother with Pandora anymore. Don't talk about the ability to watch your cable subscription anywhere there's WiFi. cool GPS system uh, who are running from? wink lol

No. I've just spent the Christmas with the same people for the last 10 years, so we know pretty well what we need in our places (I'm notorious for losing all my teaspoons as I accidentally throw them in the trash after eating something, so by the end of the year I'm left with only one or two of them lol).

I'm glad that people aren't spending as stupid amounts of money on Christmas gifts as during the worst years of the "economic growth" about 5-10 years ago. I don't want any fancy stuff that I'm not going to use.
