I think Leno has better comedy. I like the headlines and Jaywalking, but mostly I tune into whoever has a better band on.

Oh and Conan rules all!

But they are ALL formulaic and suck in their own ways...but all occasionally make me chuckle, especially Conan.

We settled this months ago (I say in my infinite wisdom): Leno is for old people, and he's a biter. He brought nothing original to the table of late night talk shows and began to try and emulate Letterman's prior NBC style (which is gone because of "intellectual property" bullcrap) long ago. Letterman on NBC outclassed both Letterman on CBS and Leno on NBC. And Letterman today is STILL better than whiny Leno. So there.

I know they both have writers who write their jokes, but Leno is funny, by nature, Letterman isn't. He's trying to be funny.

Letterman easily. Yeah Dave back in the NBC days was way better than he is now. But even the Letterman-lite that we get now is light years better than Leno.

Jay seems like a nice guy and all, but his jokes are sooo obvious and frankly not that funny. He does have a couple of good bits like the funny-ads, but I can hardly ever get through his monologues. Letterman has started to suffer from obvious-joke too, but his personality is just off-kilter enough to keep you guessing.

And Conan kills them both. I hope he never moves to earlier slot or he'll just get watered down like Dave.
