I have not been there, no. I know the old location had such high reviews, but I haven't heard since they've moved.
Incidentally, that's right next to me too.
I knew that.
True story: when I was six (going into first grade), my mom took me shopping for school clothes at Dayton's. (We were in Minneapolis visiting my uncle and aunt.) And then, we had lunch at a Chinese restaurant called The Sampan, which used to be downtown. I felt so special.
A few years later, when the Mary Tyler Moore show aired, I always got a little thrill when she spun around and tossed her beret in front of Dayton's. I loved that I had actually been someplace that was on TV. (I felt the same way about all the shots of Chicago in The Bob Newhart Show.)
The place I work is on tv every week.
Also, they filmed scenes of Batman Begins on top of my building where I used to work and in the parking garage across the street and the El scenes from Spider Man were filmed in front of the building.
I'm such a nerd. |

I work in an industrial park, my surroundings suck.
But Tim Hortons and Subway are very close.
At home I have woodlands with tons of birds and wildlife behind me that opens up to a river, a few houses around and then the gorgeous ocean just down the road. |

It really is in the summer. It's a little rough in the winter. |

My kids would not go for that at all. We looked a some houses that you had to go by a cemetary to get to and my kids were like "NO WAY!!"
