i dont mean to b rude ~ but.......

this girl at work gave me a pile of her un-wanted clothes that she no longer fits in

i really dont want them.......

not that i am stuck-up or un-grateful, i mean the thought is nice

but

they r not my style and too big on me and i already have way too much clothing

so should i just return them to her or give them to charity????

i also hate how she said i should wear one of the tops 2 the christmas party disbelief its like something my mum would wear shrug

i really dont want to offend her but REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mad

Fuck that chick. lol You didn't ask for her clothes. You shouldn't feel guilty about NOT wearing them either lol. It's that simple nod.

be adult about it and say thank you for thinking of me, but it's not really my style- and let her know you would be happy to help her find a charity home for the items. simple enough.

some women r touchy about their clothes and they give it away thinking they r giving out gold and u need to b nice without hurting their feelings

tomorrow i will give her back the bag and say they were too big on me - which they mostly r ~ except 4 that top feeling ill

Just tell her, man.

I purged my clothes recently and brought it in to see if my coworker wanted anything. Some of it was new, never even worn.

She picked through, grabbed what she thought would fit her or that she liked and turned the rest back to me. I wasn't offended. I just gave the rest to charity. No biggie.

Just make up some convincing story--people will believe anything.

Just say there was some strange bovine oxen smell that you couldn't wash out of the clothes so you had to throw them away.

Be honest & somewhat-apologetic when you tell her that you tried them on and they don't flatter your figure.

She's probably feeling good about herself, thinking that she's helping you out (she probably thought that you were being modest or shy when you kept saying no).

If she's a normal human being, she won't take offense at you not wearing something that doesn't look good on you.

Turn up late for work looking rough.

Back-comb your hair, put on too much eyeshadow and just before you go and see the woman, sprinkle some pepper in your eyes.

Give her the bag with all her clothing in and tell her you had a bit of trouble with it all. Say that you put on all her clothes and went out for the night for a good time. Explain how you were followed by 'little people' dressed as elves for over two hours. Say that you tried to lose them but at every corner you turned, more showed up. Say that you were afraid of the elves and ran to a policeman for help. You were arrested on the spot as you fit the description of one of their most wanted. You spent the night in the cells, along with 14 of the elves that were roped in too.

Then start the tears.

As soon as she reaches out to comfort you tell her they did things to your back door that you didn't like. Not at first anyway. Say you escaped and ran to work but that the police were bound to be looking for you. Tell her you think it would really be a bad idea to keep the clothes. Thank her for her charity and tell her if you want to dress up like Mrs. Doubtfire in a nuthouse anytime soon you'll let her know.

biggrin this is hilarious! Is she a psych patient? Why would she choose you out of the clear blue to give her old clothes to and then INSIST that you wear them?lol If that happened to me, my concern would be is she trying to send me a message about my fashion-sense?hrmph

You already got the clothes, right?

So, why bother with saying anything about it?

Just give them to charity or a nearby homeless shelter.

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

You know what.

You don't even have to say anything.

Better than having them clutter up your place.

Be truthful. Tell her they are not your style but you are giving them away (if you do) to charity.

Otherwise throw them out.

Return them?? Why did u accept them in the first place? confuse

Saying you have enough clothes or that they aren't your personal style is not rude, it's honest.
