Yup, Arum is the reason why those two will never fight, neither Floyd nor Manny are scared to fight each other, it's Manny's promoter, Arum, who just so happens to be Floyd's ex promoter and is still salty that Floyd was smart enough to buy out his contract and become a free agent five years ago right before the Delahoya fight. Of course this was the fight where Floyd started making REAL money

It all ties in to why the championship rematch between Manny & Timothy didn't happen like it should have, given the controversial split decison of the first fight and all.

These days, pro boxing is no longer about any of the world title belts in all the weight divisions as much as it's only about who AND what makes the most money in one night. I know it sounds old-fashioned, but I missed to good ole days when the issue of who was "THE real world champion" was more important than the money.

As for Manny being scared, I dont really think he was that scared. I'm thinking a large percentage of it was to hype it up, of course he was delaying it for a while but I still it wouldve happened and I still think its going to happen.

Heck, I know its going to happen. Though with Manny losing to Marquez, the chances are looking more delayed.
