How to Survive a Plague (2012) - The story of two coalitions -- ACT UP and TAG (Treatment Action Group) -- whose activism and innovation turned AIDS from a death sentence into a manageable condition.

It was incredibly sad watching footage of some of the activists slowly wasting away over the years.

Yeah, that's the one! Goes to South Africa and sells out 6 nights at a 5000 person arena! It's just one of those stories about a man who is like a modern day prophet or something. Just inspiring and humbling all at the same time, lessons to be learned and I just can't say enough good things about it. Just see it when you can!

Finally got around to see "The Avengers"...was a big fan of the comics growing up...the movie was kind of a disappointment..just seemed like too much...I'll give it 2 1/2 out of 5 stars.

5 Broken Cameras (2011) - A documentary on a Palestinian farmer's chronicle of his nonviolent resistance to the actions of the Israeli army.

It reminded me of How to Survive a Plague in that it's filmed over a period of years and not all the protesters survive in the end. Another sad story. 1/2
