A stranger (old lady in my neighborhood) on the street told me
"You dress your children well... they don't look poor at all!"
She assumed I must be poor because I am Hispanic... I guess... or just non-white... I am poor
I get this ALL the time....
"I love the way your kids are, so well mannered!" "Your son is so well spoken!" "Wow... you are intelligent/pretty smart!" "You are still pretty depite your nose/features, you should get a nose job you would look so hot."
and since I got fat...
"You look great for a pregnant woman! Wait... you are pregnant right?"
"Oh look at you! I remember you when you were thin! You look good for a fat chick!"
I tend to meet and know a high ratio of people who are tactless and have no filters....

Omg I get both of those alllll the time . I'm 5'10 and a half flat foot. Over 6' in heels. Certainly not giving up my heels to make any one feel better. | |
