Requesting service of tech savvy orgers! How to recover deleted photos? Hi all,
So I have a Nikon Coolpix S4000. I had about 20 or so photos that somehow got erased from the memory of the camera. I wasn't using an SD card or anything. What softwares can I use to recover the pictures? I've already downloaded one or two free ones off of the app store, but so far they all fail to register that my camera is plugged into my computer... worried that maybe they only recover photos off of SD cards, not off of the camera itself.
Is all hope lost?
Thanks guys. | |

I've HEARD that until you record over those images, they're still technically "there" somewhere.
But you need a good techie to help you out with that.

The camera still has some kind of internal memory that should work the same way.
I just did a pretty heavy bit of reading and it sounds to me like the bigger problem right now is that your camera isn't being recognized.
Does your computer recognize that the camera is plugged in?
But the software does not?
It that is the case I'd suggest you just keep trying different software. If you run out of safely rated software to try, hit up Geek Squad (if they're available to you). If you are advances enough tech wise there's some forums out there where people will be able to help/offer advice as well.
If your pc isn't recognizing the camera, you'll need to get that sorted out first. | |
