WTF??? Fury as Chinese car show uses five-year-olds in bikinis (probably NSFW links) sometimes I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND the reasoning of other human beings
I won't post the sickening photos, click on the link I you want to CAR show organisers sparked horror when they used girls as young as five to pose in bikinis to advertise luxury motors. The youngsters wore full make-up as they were draped across cars alongside adult models to help sell the motors. But shocking images from the show in Wuhan, China, infuriated parents and child protection experts. One critic said: “It’s sickening. Their parents must be money mad. How could they let their children do such a thing.” One mother, whose daughter posed at the show, later said: “We were so carried away with the show and the glamour I didn’t see the other side of it. “Now I can see how wrong it was and I’d never have allowed my girl to take part if I’d thought it through properly."

i can kind of see where using half-naked children for models could be a 'looking to the future generations' kind of marketing thing. but, it's still a bit exploitative. imo it's a shame these little girls are being maximized simply for their looks. might give them a distorted world view and self esteem issues down the road....
i'm starting to really like honey boo boo chile. in a sense, she and her ma are turning the child beauty pageant world on its ear.. i hope her amazing popularity and exposure doesn't deprive honey of her chance to just be a kid. too late for that actually. but maybe she'll be okay anyway, if the paparazzi don't torture her to death
