Boardwalk Empire S3, Epi#11: "Two Imposters" (Spoilers)

So it's going to be Capone and not Torrio bringing help for Nucky....ahhhhhh YEAHHHHH!!!!! excited

Richard is going to be a one man army....ahhhhhh YEAHHHHHH excited

No Margaret last night.....ahhhhhh YEEAHHHHHHHH excited

Chalky saving Nucky's behind....ahhhh YEAHHHHHHH excited

Luciano gets pinched....omfg

Michael Kenneth Williams really does an excellent job with Chalky's character.

I have to say, it was a real relief when Eli came back....with Capone and an army. I'm excited to see them FINALLY going in the direction with Capone exercising his power...on his own terms.

It's really hilarious how Gillian thinks that Richard is this gullible character but she honestly can't control him (that's what frustrates her about him, unlike Jimmy, Richard isn't going to let anyone control him). So its safe to say that he's more than likely going to shoot his way out that house TAKING Tommy with him. But will Gillian die as well? hmmm

Poor Eddie. I'm glad he was able to be helped. I have to watch the episode again to get a more clearer understanding of what he was babbling about while in so much pain. I think what he said had some significance in Nucky finally getting his balls back.

So after Gyp is dead and Nucky reclaims Atlantic City, what is going to do about his marriage to Margaret? hmmm

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Based on the preview for next week, the Capone-Thompson alliance will be volatile.

Richard will save the boy, and Gillian from herself.

Once Nucky deals with Gyp and his Boss, Margaret will be the least of his problems. He'll be too occupied with Capone on one side, and Carnegie on the other (wild prediction).

Wouldn't it be something else if Gillian ends up being the one to off Gyp while they have sex?

I missed it last night, fell asleep, but I'll catch it on Comcast On Demand. I like to watch it there because the director of the episode usually gives a synopsis of what happened.

Gillian needs to get knocked off her damn self. Yeah, yeah, she's not completely responsible I guess becuase she's batshit crazy as hell.

I really like Richard and hopes he and his lady friend can hook up and take Tommy away from crazy ass Gillian.

missfee, I give you a lot of credit. You are always on point with this show. You are probably right about Gillian being the one who probably kills Gyp. I think you were the one that predicted a long time ago that Chalky was going to help nucky. This show is so good. I just don't know how they can wrap the last show up in one hour.

What was your take on the title of this episode "Two Imposters" What do you think it means????

It was a hunch but it turns out that was the case... wink

The "Two Imposters" meaning came from the speech that Eddie was struggling to remember during his delirium from the gunshot wound. He was, of course, reciting it in a different language. I've been meaning to look up the poem...according the HBO site, it's called "If".

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I knew it as soon as Eddie started speaking in English.

Next week is the season finale and boy is it gonna be good!!! excited

Last weeks episode was really good. Still can't believe Owen is dead...I actually liked him sad Loved that episode title, 'A man, a plan, a canal, Panama.' So much fun.

How is Nucky gonna handle it when he finds out that Margaret is preggers with Owen's baby...if she really is pregnant because a part of me thinks she was just trying to keep Owen by saying this....she's soo conniving sometimes. But, than I think she is because the doctor said she looked sickly...so why does she need a diaphragm if she's pregnant? Hmmm, confuse She's out of the rest of this season I'm pretty sure.

Chalky having to save Nucky's tail. woot! Guess Nuck knows who his true comrades are now.

I LOVE how Capone ended this episode with that swag-tastical last line. Dude, has gotten super smooth I must say.

I'm kinda ready for Gyp to be offed because after he buried his man in the sand and then bludgeoned him with that shovel in front of his family I was pretty done with him. He's heartless and cruel and needs to be erased because he's just nuts and will kill anyone at this point.

I wanted to punch Gillian for talking to Richard like that. hmph! Talking about he's 'half a human being'....bitch, he's more a human being than you are. Raising your grandbaby in a bordello...what's wrong wit you?!?!? mad Oooh, I can't stand her. Now, she's acting like a spoiled child that Gyp is all fond of her so she has to throw his name out every 5 seconds to get people to listen to her. She has no power in her own whorehouse now without Gyp which means she's right back to where she was when her ex husband was around and ruling her sorry existence. The only good thing she can do now is kill Gyp and maybe I won't hate her so much.....maybe.

Aw, Richard mushy He's about to wreck shop up in that place and we all know he's a good shot. Hopefully, he joins Nucky now because they both hate Gyp and Gillian. Richard is a good man to have on your side. He needs to get rid of all the Gyp henchmen and Gillian, save Tommy, and run off with is lady love and live happily ever after. biggrin

Nucky is back!!! woot! I like how he was popping off the goons. He's still got it. cool Happy to see him so dedicated to his loyal friend, Eddie. He's understanding who his real friends are now and I like that.

Can't wait for next week!!! excited I hope there are no cliffhangers because I don't think I can wait until next fall to see what's gonna happen. pray

I get the feeling that a major character is going to die in the season finale.

Yeah, I got that feeling too. Part of me thinks it's gonna be either Chalky or Richard; but moreso Richard. sad Now that he's found happiness with a lady, he's gonna chose to save Tommy and lose his life in the process. I hope I'm wrong with this though. I hope it's Gillian.

I don't think it'll be either of those two. Chalky is too important to the storyline and so is Richard. I'm thinking, maybe Eli could be on his way out. I think taking Gillian out would be too easy...but I wouldn't mind it. lol.

It might be Eddie. He's was half dead last week. Then again, it might be Chalky because it is already known that Al Capone lived into the 1940's. Is Chalky's character based on a real person?

The only reason Nucky is next to Chalky is that Nucky had nowhere else to go. I wouldn't put it past him if he turns coat on Chalky. I don't believe he really gives one rabbit turd about Chalky and would sell his ass down the river to save his own and get back his control.

No Chalky's character isn't based on a real person...I think he may be loosely based on another gangster though.

I read tht Chalky was loosely based on a boxer during that time. I hope it's not his last season but I'm still shocked about Jimmy and Owen so I should keep an open mind.

Yeah, that threw me for a loop. I thought he would last longer than he did. I even thought maybe he didn't die and would turn up in future episodes, but I guess a gunshot straight through the center of his forhead doesn't leave much chance of survival.
