Went to the navy base to see my daughter graduate from navy boot camp.

Me too. My son graduated from basic in South Carolina and I had to take two planes to get there.

Congratulations to your daughter! I'm sure she was so happy to see you! I know I was when my mom came to my bootcamp graduation.

My husband graduated from USNavy bootcamp there. I met him there. We were in the same Hospital Corpsman class. I got out, but my hubby stayed in. He was stationed there in 1994. We were there 5 1/2 years. Our youngest was born there.

I hated it there. Too cold in the winter. Too hot & humid in the summer, but we had many good times there. Our love story started there. We had our last child there, making our family whole and we made lifelong friends there.
