I live for winter. I hate summer. I love the cold weather, love the clothes, love the boots, love the hot chocolate and apple cider, love the snow and as for summer, I hate the heat, hate the humidity, hate the bugs.

I cope with it by being glad as hell that it's here and appreciating every cold minute of it while it lasts. I love everything about winter. It gets dark during the drive home from work. I hate daytime and love nighttime so that's right up my alley because I wish it was nighttime 24/7. Everything that has ever been fun such as discos, skating, partying, clubbing, and whoring has gone on at night while boring things such as sports and outdoor activities have gone on during the daytime. I hate summertime so I love the cold weather, the colder the better. If you're cold, you can always put on more clothes or grab extra blankets but in the summer, you could take off all your clothes and still sweat and be totally miserable. Plus, the colder and darker it is, the less it feels like you live in Mississippi.

The only thing I don't like about the winter is it is harder to wake up in the morning and I also hate waiting for the ice to defrost off the car windshield in the mornings because I'm always leaving at the last minute anyway and don't have any extra time in the mornings to spare as it is. But those are only minor things compared to the hell on earth misery of the summer. When it gets around February, I start getting pissed because I know it's almost over and I hate spring because the cold weather leaves and then I know it will be followed by summer. I cherish every cold minute of winter. What I don't like about it though is many times we have days during the winter down here that aren't cold and sometimes we even have warm days every now and then. It just ain't fair to ruin the winter with warm days because there sure as hell aren't any cold days during the summer.

naw, i live just outside of san francisco. in the winter the weather temp gets cold with the help of the ocean's humidity. kinda like a cold sauna.

yeah, SF area is different from LA area weather-wise.

Living here, I do miss more distinct seasonal changes in weather. It'd make me feel more in tune with the holidays. I really like that about living in Boston area and in Europe - it really felt wintery and Christmasy.

I love this time of year, too. I find people are generally so much nicer to one another during the winter months. People act like assholes during the summer. Everyone's crabby, rude and irritated because of the heat and humidity.

winter is beautiful. i cope with ice skating and sledding and cross country skiing. also, fireplaces and good books. hot baths and drinks. good company.

Basically, I just fuck as much as possible. It's warmer in there.
