I did. It's really a sucky thing for a kid to have to go through.

I never did but one of my brothers had that problem, whenever that happened one of my other brothers use to tell my mom that he went mid-night sailing.

Not a very nice thing to go through, I think that would be absolutely embarrassing. Never happened to me, whew!

It actually happens to most young children at some time or another, or they have "accidents" elsewhere.

I myself once went to the kitchen cupboard in the middle of the night for a pee, thinking it was the bathroom.

The only time(s) I remember wetting the bed was when I was having a dream that I was sitting on the toilet. It was just a natural release. Sometimes I would wake myself up before it got too out of hand. Other times not.

I must add that this only happened to me a handful of times.

I must say, I've clicked on this thread a couple of times before I got the nerve to answer this question.

I was a habitual bedwetter. I wet the bed until I was 13 years old!

My greatest fear was when I was asked to spend the night at a school mate's house, and wet the bed there. I would wake up constantly to make sure I didn't. Luckily, this nightmare never happened.

When I would go to my cousin's house and spend the night, or the week, and had an accident, his sister always made fun of me... I would wake up extra early to clean up any "mess" I made.

I would have these super realistic dreams that I was actually using the toilet, and would wake up in a panic, drenched in my own urine.

It's a horrible situation to be in. I feel so sad for the children who are going through this... as it's no laughing matter. It can scar you for life. Luckily, I had a very understanding mother and father. We worked through this, and when it stopped I was elated.

There is no cure... though, I understand there's a pill that can be taken now... I'm not sure how it works, but I hope it works.

No child should have to go through this humiliating condition.

I was nervous to discuss this... but, strangely...I feel better.

about a boy whose mother would hang his
stained sheets in front of the house to embarass him every day. Seems like SHE has more problems than this kid.

I didn't have the problem, thank God. But I STILL have those goddamn toilet dreams. They're so REAL! I'm falling all over the bedroom, holding my crotch till I can find the toilet!!!

AND THEN, the goddamn toilet seat lid is down! I sit down, and there's no hole!!!
