Like folks have said a good humidifier does wonders in the winter. nod Look for one that's antimicrobial - filter free .. QVC has some good ones reasonably priced.

Also....

Shea butter

Cocoa butter

Aquaphor

Vitamin E oil

Jojoba Oil

And if you're old school and / or on a budget good 'ol fashion Corn Huskers Lotion can work 'dat ash out in one application.

Let us not forget a paraffin wax for the tootsies, it does wonders!!

Here's to an ash / dry skin free winter!!

My dad worked in the car business. In our part of the country, that meant a lot of days in the winter spent out in the cold showing cars or clearing snow from cars (the salesmen actually did that kind of work in those days). Even though he always wore gloves, his poor hands really took a beating from being cold, then warm, then cold, then warm all day long.

The guys at the dealership swore by Corn Huskers - because it really worked and wasn't too foofy la-la for men to use. nod

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

OMG! I forgot about that stuff, its amazing!

Oh and the paraffin machine is awesome. I need to pull mines out and buy more wax for it, it really keeps the rough spots so soft and repairs damaged dry hands like nothing else.

nod

Yes that stuff is great plus it's dirt cheap and a little goes a long way. I forgot to add Thayer's alcohol free witch hazel, a bit more expensive than the drug store cheap witch hazel, but well worth the price!

Heal-Tastic has worked wonders for my crusty ass feets.

The smell could be better though sad

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

There's tons and tons of products which mainly differ in colour and smell. I prefer Milk & Honey shit, for instance.

But, to tell the truth, most of the time any moisturising body lotion will do.

I mix in essential oils that are good for dry skin as it is something I have had since childhood

I use it on my body, face, lips, hair ...

and in my cooking !

The skin on my face loves it ! I have yet to get the minny cracks that usually show in Oct woot!

My eyes tend to get dry in the winter, which results in photosensitivy and irritation when wearing contact lenses often.

I blow dry my hair immediately after showering, otherwise, I'll be itching my skull all day.

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.
