I've seen folk (here even, I'm pretty sure) post that pic of the baby burger with the dude pretending to chomp down and don't remember anyone thinking anything of it. Why is one funny and the other not when the implication in both is baby-food.

Maybe the pic is too dreary lookin. The other one has bread and lettuce and pretty colorful fixins. Maybe it's all in the execution of the shot.

Maybe you, personally don't, but I'm just sayin I remember this pic being posted and no one thinking it was a big deal like the one in OP.

I'm fairly sure, though, that unless that dude really took a bite out of that baby, it probably grew up withouth any considerable damage due to the taking of that pic.

Yeah that baby in the sandwich looks upset. The baby in the oven you can tell by the look on his face he already knows his grandfather is a worthless moron.

It's hard to judge a photo without knowing the context in which it was taken, though the first one looks a bit worrying

I wanted to say this last night but figured it might be best coming from an actual mommy.

I guess the moral of the story might be "Wait til your baby's upset about something else and THEN put 'em in a dumbass picture." That way putting them in the photo won't be the cause of the irreversible life-long damage it would surely cause otherwise.
