According to various reports, it was Selena who pulled the plug on the relationship sometime last week.The two first sparked dating rumors in November 2010 when they were spotted dining together at an IHOP, but didn't go public with their relationship until February 2011. Gomez was often the target of rabid Bieber fans, who constantly attacked her for dating their beloved Biebs.The couple battled break-up rumors multiple times -- most recently earlier this week when Justin was seen hitting up a Broadway play with a group of people that included 19-year-old Victoria's Secret model Barbara Palvin. So we're guessing he'll be just fine. | |

My immediate reaction was this storyline:
Selena to Justin (via e-mail): "Um, hey, yeah, I saw a snippet of that interview you did with Oprah saying you didn't want to hide me because you weren't ashamed of me or whatever and then I keep reading about how everyone thinks we're the 'hottest young celebrity couple' right now. Soooo, that made me think about all the other 'hot young celebrity couples' who got that title before us and these images immediately popped into my mind":
"And then these images popped into my mind":
"Yeah, so, since nothing good seems to come from that title and you've been getting on my nerves ALOT lately, I think it's time. I totally don't want to be responsible for any of this happening to you because I know how you can get and you know I can kick your ass....soooo, I'm just gonna head out now. Take it easy alright."
Yep, that's exactly how the breakup happened in my mind.
